Ohio but not a Buckeye
Anyone watch this game yesterday? It was god awfully officiated, and Oklahoma could only hang around because of it.

I don't see how it's possible in any level of basketball where 1 team shoots 41 more free throw's then their opposition.

46 for OKLAHOMA
5 for Purdue

Purdue is not perimiter oriented either. They have a solid balance to their team. The game went to overtime, that's another reason for 29-3's attempted. However, Oklahoma themselves shot 19-3's.

This is pathetic...

I'm tired of Oklahoma, and can't wait until those overhyped idiots get beat.

Baylor impressed me yesterday. If they can show the killer instinct today in the finals, they have got to be my pick in the BIG 12.

Oklahoma isnt over hyped, they are a good squad and have the best big man in the country, hands down. Purdue is a guard oriented team and thats what happens when you cant match up with the big men. They have no legit force inside, and their biggest guy at 6'10 played 15 minutes and had 4 fouls. The fouls were 28 to 15, which isnt that big of a difference. Oklahoma was busy driving to the basket while Purdue was jacking up 3's. 29 of their 69 shots were 3's....if you arent driving to th ebasket you arent going to get fouled and go to the line.

ok...they shot 10 times more beyond the arc, if you would've read my post, you'd see that i mentioned that.

Purdue shot 40 non 3's
Oklahoma shot 43 non 3's

??????????????????????

it's not a matter of having a force inside. they have a good balance, and do attack the hoop and put the ball inside.

Oklahoma is overhyped, because of Griffin.

It took 41 more ft attempts to win in OT...

Best big man is in chapel hill, see National Player of the Year.

I dont think there is an unbiased person in the country that would take Hansbrough over Griffin.

I'm sure there is. Griffin has done nothing to deserve best big man in the country. I'd love to play them because he's not going to what he's done to these teams with no inside game(you said yourself). Nobody works as hard as Hansbrough, and Griffin would be sitting most of the game on the sidelines.
