Pretty cool scene during the commercial timeout after the 3rd touchdown. Every Georgia player on a knee around there coach, while the Gtech players on the other sideline jumping up and down in a pack. :0corn

Hey Weasel, hope all is well.

Couldn't agree more. What a great hire for the Jackets. Definitely going to make things interesting in the ACC as well as with Mark Richt and the Bulldawgs.

Yeah, total change of momentum. Wonder if Richt will have the entire team run out to the endzone IF they score again, LOL.

The last couple of days have been a reminder that the SEC was a 2 team league and neither of those teams has a true quality win. It is amazing to me how much of a pass Florida gets as a one loss team when it is the only team in the discussion that lost at home.

I upset a couple Ga guys at the start of the year when I said GA had no chance to win it this year with that guy at the helm. They would be winning back to back national titles with a guy like Saban.

This game is fcuking ridiculous. Kicked off at 12 PM and it's now 3:37 PM and there is still almost 5 minutes to play.

I'm gonna miss the entire first quarter of the Alabama game.

Actually the conversation was only about Mark Richt and had nothing to do with me believing they would win the NC. I thought they would finish with 2 loses so far have 3. Since you are here however let me see if I can get you to answer the question you ran from earlier this year. Here is the posts you are refering to

Bottom line he has had the talent to play for the big enchilada and always loses to somebody he has no business losing to, and often at home.

Last year a dreadful home loss to South Carolina in which as I recall Richt the offensive genius couldnt even get a touchdown on the board. The blowout loss in Knoxville was pretty awful at the time as well.

2006 - a home loss to Vandy? Giving up 50 plus to Tennessee at home in losing by 3 TDs when you had the lead starting the fourth quarter?

2005 - a complete gag job in losing at home to Auburn by 1 on the last play Fg after giving up a bomb in the last 30 seconds of the game, in part caused by not going for 2 after a fourth quarter touchdown and instead kicking to get a 6 point lead.

2002-2004 the losses were respectable but when they had to get a big game against an equal or arguably better opponent they lost.

The guy is Mack Brown except for the 2005 win over USC - win 10 games, beat almost everybody you should except once a year or so have an unexplainable dud, struggle against your big name border opponent you play at a neutral site, etc. So yes an ecellent coach, but not a championship coach.

As for Gump, ironically he still wouldnt have one if the voters hadnt completely shafted Georgia and been one of the most screwed up seasons ever. He has the hardware but does anyone truly believe that "proved" he was a great coach?

I will give it one more shot Sun Tzu since you have obviously avoided answering. I wont hold my breath
