I can't believe this line is 16.
I was guessing 25+.

Texas had a 31-3 lead on them at the half.

i like Mizzou in this spot. all they've heard for weeks now is about Texas and OU. they will come out hard to show they are a very good team. Texas and OK St. both demonstrated how vulnerable OU's secondary can be. Mizzou has no shortage of playmakers on their sidelines.

Mizzou is a pretender. They choke under pressure and Pinkel's a poor in-game strategist. My two cents.:mj06:

Mizzou couldnt slowdown Kansas lastweek, OU runs up 55 pts and almost 600 tot yds IMO, defense showed nothing lastweekend

Dont know these championship games sometimes are funny.Alot of pressure in these games.Yeah the reg. season games are stressful, but for some reason these games are different.I think its closer either way, maybe with a little luck Mizzou pulls the upset.,

Couldn't have said it better.

I remember a few years ago, we were playing Troy (I think) on an ESPN Thursday night game and they showed a stat that was something like out of the last 25 games that Mizzou was behind at halftime, they were 1-24. Pinkel got all twisted at Corso, but that facts didn't lie. I thought he looked like a total jackass.

Our cornerbacks have been getting exposed since game one this year, and I don't see them all of a sudden starting to figure things out this week. Coffman isn't 100%, and the offense generally goes as he goes. They said he was 100% before the Iowa St. game, but that is BS. W/O him, I don't see them being able to do to much against the Sooners. All of these coaches have figured out how to defend against our spread offense, and Pinkel hasn't changed a thing.

I was at the KU game, and have never experienced more highs and lows at one sporting event in my life. I just got my tickets today for this Saturday night and am trying to decide whether to punish myself again, or get rid of them.

After last weeks effort, I just hope we can make a game of it.

What was it they were playing Kansas for? I can't remember...but i'm pretty sure it wasn't a conference championship. I never refer to "Public" plays or thinking, 'cause I am by no means a sharp, but this type of opinion is what I usually fade.

Whitt I wouldn't downgrade the importance of last week's game for Missouri. Kansas is definitely their biggest rival and whether it be for a conference championship or for their only win of the season they would want to beat Kansas more than most anything.

Whats the early forecast for Saturday in KC, and more importantly, any idea on the condition of Arrowhead's field?

Total is high, but the Big-12 doesn't play defense so if the field is in good shape, don't see why this one doesn't have 100+ scored in it. Thoughts?

You wanna bet Mizzou and their 92nd rank defense against Sam Bradford and his receiving corps????

Granted, I do not like the Sooners but they'll cover that 16 EASY!!!!

The field is in good shape. They resodded the middle third of the field before the game last weekend, and even though it was snowing most of the game, I don't think it ended up in to bad of shape.

The forecast for Saturday is mid 40's during the day and upper 20's at night. It was supposed to snow here today, but only got a dusting, and not expecting any more precip before game time. Not supposed to be any wind, so it ought to be a good night for college football. If anything changes, I will post it here.

I'd be careful betting the over. I don't see us scoring much against the Sooners unless they come out w/ a different attitude this time. As Jhawksoon stated, they should have been juiced up for that game, but they didn't appear to be. I think ever since they got bitch-slapped by the Longhorns, they haven't played w/ much intensity.

Hopefully that will change, and we can put up some sort of a fight.

Good Luck
