Cal-Northridge +2.5 over Drexal **
After a long write up on why I thought the Matodors would beat Rider I'm going to make a skip pass across the court.This team has lost to Stanford,New Mex,UCSB by 1,and now Rider by 15. Rider is better then Drex.Flint is in some trouble this year.Esp since they lost there aircraft carrier Eleger.Drex has some problem at the gds,no inside game,can't shoot the ball,etc.Cal-North can shoot the Ft's but can't shoot 3's.And Cal-N is giving up an amazing 80 pts a game on defense.Cal- has some vets a good pt gd and some shooters.Think they come out and win this.

Ind St -3 over Ark St **
Brady is the new coach and has inspired this ASU team.Ind St got blown away by NT at home last week.Now another Sun conf team comes in.But I think Crawford at 6'11 and Tunnell at 6'8 might be tough for ASU to match up against.Also Martin at 6'8 led the Valley in blocked shots.Ind St.has a great home record lyr 12-2. Think they can beat this improving Ark team esp at home.

Idaho +1.5 over Sac St ****
Really like the Vandals.It's an off the beaten path game.Both teams got wiped out to graduation.New coaches,new systems,etc.But Idaho has Wash St transfer in Hopson.Some big guys in the frontline in Jefferson,DeSouza and Augusto.They are a little more athletic and quicker.They both played Cal-Irvine.ID won by 50 and Sac lost by 12.Idaho is the better team.They play in a tougher conf.Vandals win this on the road

repost of my great handicapping job on rider-cal North

Cal record is not very good.But they lost to New Mex,Stanford and UCSB by 2 at there place.Riders record looks better but they beat Lafayette,and beat Lehigh by 1.They did lose to Joes by 12.
Lyr Rider flew out west and beat Cal by 1 73-72.But Rider had the aircraft carrier in Thompson who became a lottery pick.Cal returnrd the favor and now is in NJ.But the difference is I think the matodors are better.Cal has a good pt gd in jenkins,good shooter in trevant and a tough 6'9 post player in Townsend.Gallick a transfer is another tough scorer.Cal presses,traps and there defense causes turnovers.They play uptempo.Rider relies a Ryans little brother who can score and mansell an excellent shooting gd.Both there inside players are 6'7 and avg around 9 pts a game.
Although rider returns 4 starters think they have a problem today with the press and weak inside game.
and one more factor..Cal is one of the best FT shooting teams in the country and Rider one of the worst.Rider shoots 57% as a team.In fact last yr Ringgold the Rider fd was fouled by every MAAC team at the end of games. He shot 28-89 for 33%.Think Cal wins this on the rd.

Wrong..Rider won by 15 and the game was never close.

airportis...Siena looked tired after 3 games with the big boys..wait until they meet there MAAC brothers..Houston destroyed North Texas..NT on the road despite beating Ind St is always a suspect team.

Old School..I lasted 4 months..now I'm at it again getting a per-diem until June 2010...and getting my NY State Retirement on top of that...unreal..
