Week 13 recap

Play against teams that won by 17 or more went 3-2. Played against BAL, NYJ, ATL, OAK, BUF (Played on CIN, DEN, SD, KC, SF).

Play on teams that lost by 17 or more excluding SEA, STL, and DET went 3-2 (played on PHIL, CIN, DEN, KC, JAX).

YTD Record:
Play against teams that won by 17 or more is 26-16 (62%)

Play on teams that lost by 17 or more is 26-7 (79%)

The double qualifier record is 8-3.

On deck for next week...Week 14
Play against:
TEN...(Play on Cleve)... Thats scary! I wouldn't recommend it because of CLE QB situation but it fits the system. :shrug:
PHIL...(Play on NYG)

***More qualified but the teams are playing each other...PIT vs. DAL (both qualified as plays against but they play each other). MIN vs. DET is a double qualifier but we don't play on or against DET for system purposes...So its a no play.

pgh, first dont get upset with these comments, just think that it might help to make this better for next year, food for thought thats all.

second "we" need to accknowledge the mad pisser for this system that he bought to madjacks a few years back,

third, i too, made some ajustments to it, to make it better for the %s, what i did was simply take the one team that lost by the largest margin and play ON them the next week, either last year or the year before it went 15-1, no plays first week, need to see who lost.

finally, i played the second most losing team if the other team had a bye the next week, which made me notice something, look into playing a team to lose by a mile if they have the next week as a bye. it seemed at least 50% of the time i would see a team lose by 25 and say, i will play them next week, only to see them have a bye.

ohh and you cant give someone the overall win lose % with the (dont play on det stl and sea) thing sure we can apply it now back we didnt think this in week 3 did we. I mean who would have thought that SEA would have been so bad.

so next year put certain teams in it to follow or not follow week 1 and do not change it after week 1 , we need to stick it out all year , if this is to be a workable system.


hell i can come up with a million systems with all the data behind me, anyone can make it work with tomorrows paper.

reminds me of the ol ferret software, it would run a zillion formulas to make 1 work on 25 years of data, only to go 0-25 the next 2 weeks. :shrug:
