Cincy clinched a BCS bowl last week and are now travelling to Hawaii with nothing on the line. Got to think these guys are doing a lot of partying on the island and not much else. Hawaii +7.5 looks like a huge play for me. Thoughts???

UC hasn't scheduled a lot of recreational fun stuff for the players to do out here. The team is scheduled to visit Pearl Harbor tomorrow afternoona and they have been accorded a few hours of free time this afternoon after practice with strict instructions not to get hurt. Other than that, it's pretty much business as usual, with meetings and practices as they prepare for their final regular-seaon game against Hawaii on Saturday.

I thought the same thing when they played Cuse, unfortunately I didnt unload on Cuse but won a lil. This is going to be live it up time b4 bowl game but the Bows arent very good:shrug: How much celebratin will Cinncy be doin night b4 is the ? I think its worth a play tho and will probably be saying same thing I said last week about unloading once the game is over :142smilie
This is a little different than playing Cuse though, they are in freakin Hawaii. None of these kids have ever been to Hawaii and most likely never will again.
I just got off the phone with my buddy a little bit ago, red shirt freshman qb for cincy, and he said they went to the beach yesterday but other than that coach has been pretty strict. Nothin crazy is going on, he would be straight with me if they were getting wild. Sounds like the coaching staff is taking the trip pretty serious.

They are playing for a trip to Hawaii. They know where they stand now and the game is not on their mind. I wouldn't be surprised if a few broke a curfew or two. Already on this game.

This has been a dream season for Cincinnati winning a Big East Championship and getting to go on a trip to Hawaii before playing in the biggest game of their lives in a BCS Bowl game. The only problem is Hawaii is going to be stoked to get another chance at a BCS bowl game participant, so look out Bearcats!

You are right Monkey. I still have the thought that there might be a few curfews broken on UC's behalf.
If Hawaii could'nt beat that high school team Washington State last week worse than they did then the Rainbows are'nt getting a cent of my $$$$
The only reason the line is only 7.5 is the fact that the linesmakers figured in the partying in Hawaii and the lack of focus but there's no value at all in playing Hawaii. The value and probably the right play is Cincy because if they come to play at all, they'll cover that spread. Now years ago, Hawaii would have been the play, but the spread in the same situation would have been much higher.

Im hoping it stays under 50.5..... that INT for 6 hurt bad.... Good chance this turkey goes into OT n chit now.... Haw's d could have held em for the game with them up 14, but up only 7, and 10+ min left..... not so sure... 10 more pts and bye bye under.....
