Cie, you being an SEC guy, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Ole Miss's secondary, particularly their corners and nickel/dime guys. Thinking of making them my top play of the bowl season but as I go through their schedule I noticed that haven't really played anyone who really spreads it out and throws the ball. I like how their DL matches up with the Tech OL but against Tech you need to have corners who can give your DL time to get to Harrell. TIA and GL
Ole Miss secondary appears to be playing better late in the season, but this is an obvious weakness for rebs. The safeties are solid in run support and CBs are nothing to write home about. Rebs have struggled against three step drops.
The defensive front has played outstanding football and are as impressive as any front in the SEC.
I like Ole Miss very much as a play, as I am convinced that Ole Miss is thrilled to be there, while TT can't help but feel the sting of missing out on the BCS. Problem is, I feel the Harrel Heisman snub lacked class. There is no reason that Harrel should not have been given the opportunity to participate with Bradford, McCoy and Tebow. This may serve to motivate Harrel.
Ole Miss needs to disrupt Harrel, and the Rebs have the talent at DL to get it done. Offensively, Snead is coming into his own, having thrown 13 tds to 2 ints last 5 games.
