I hate going there.

1 . At Wal-Mart, Americans spend $36,000,000 every hour of every day.

2 . This works out to $20,928 profit every minute.

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private employer. And most can't speak English

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this In only 15 years.

8. During this same period, 31 supermarket chains sought bankruptcy (including Winn-Dixie).

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are SuperCenters. That is 1,000 more than it had 5 years ago.

11. This year, 7.2 billion purchases will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart

13. Let Wal-Mart bail out Wall Street

14. Let Wal-Mart sell GM cars!

Ever heard the saying--build a better mousetrap and all will come.

Yep we should bail out the Union demised auto industry with the non union successes--make sense--spread the wealth-right :)

Just wait a year or so when our new leaders abolish the secret ballot--and try to unionize everyone--then you won't have any success's to pick on.

Well I didn't get it from the US Chamber of Commerce. just common sense and knowing how right wing republicans have been lying about how lawyers have been putting people out of business for years. The reality is that Walmart and other giants in other industry's have been putting mom and pops out of business but blaming it on lawyers forever.

I mean really Wayne, you know as well as I do, that we are everyone's easy and convenient whipping boy. The truth that good old red white and blue arkansas boy Sam Walton is a bad guy is just too hard to believe for most Americans.

Kinda like how Americans felt about George Bush just 4 short years ago.

Lets see Edward they employ more people than anyone in the world and aren't asking for handouts--

somehow I see that as huge plus--

May I ask you which would one prefer--all companies operating at a profit

--or all losing money-and beggin for bailouts

Lets see if we can look at the #'s and see what we discover--

UAW political contributions--
25,000,000 >Dems 0> republicans

So they run a viable business and employ lots of folks in the U.S. Shame on them. GM has done well to avoid this profitable strategy.

I guess you would rather they be an abject failure like the auto manufacturers

I simply stated... This is a capitalist society... Wal mart is doing what they have to do. if we bail the big 3 out, it will be a slap in the face to capitalism... we have already given up on it, and this would just be the topping on the cake. Fuck the big 3, if ppl liked the cars and they had better management they would be doing fine.

I personally like wal mart.. they have everything you need in one store.. that is why they thrive.

one thing i don't understand though:

they have 30 fucking registers in the front of the store but only 5 are open? I don't understand that... a waste of money!

Walmart has never put a single mom-and-pop store out of business.

Those stores were put out of business because so many ex-customers decided no longer to shop there.

What you object to is living in a country that gives folks what they want,
rather than what you think they should have, Mr. Eddie "Fidel" Haskell.

And now you are wondering why Lauren Conrad is pictured below in a bikini, since she doesn?t really have anything to do with Walmart, and I googled the answer for you and it said, "Stop being a fag." So what can I say?

Wayne:

It's easy for you to make that statement since you are in a government protected industry. In addition, the product you rip people off with obviously does not depend upon labor. Rather, it is a financial product which sells "asset protection" which 99% of those who buy do not know what they are buying.

Usually it is after the fact that they realize your product is generally cheaply made. Is it coincidence that this country is in the shitter when just a few giants are running the show and this country was doing great when small businesses were thriving in the 50's?

Eddie

PS: And there has never been a frivolous lawsuit filed you piece of Texas barbque. I gonna start throwing shoes here.
