There's quite a bit of boxing this weekend, unfortunately I don't know who many of these guys are!

Holyfield pts $10 for 110  I had to.

I took Alvarado under 9.5 small/medium at +140. He and Huerta will stand and trade, Huerta is slower and winds up his punches without significant power. Alvarado should stay in close and counter-punch him and find openings, and go the body. I see an accumulation stoppage or towel toss around the 8th.

I haven't been able to see much of Huerta off youtube, I'd appreciate some input.

I'm going to do some more youtubing.

Still doing some research on the other bouts

I have seen a lot of Alvarado and Huerta.

Alvarado is much improved. He has been knocking veterans out left and right. He is at home for this fight.

Huerta is moving up 5 pounds for this one. He won his last fight easily, but was dropped very hard near the end of the fight. He was also dropped hard against Hinojosa.

I believe Alvarado to be a much better fighter than Kid Diamond (the fight Huerta is best known for).

I believe this fight will have fireworks early, but eventually Alvarado should grind him down for a late stoppage or clear decision.

Huerta is a tough cookie, but I think he is running into a young, determined locomotive.

Taking everything into account, including the +140 you got, I think its a good bet. Good luck bro !

Thanks Ghost, I appreciate the details. I've seen Avlarado's recent knockouts on youtube, and I saw a few rounds of Huerta agaisnt Jagueri.

I only took the leap from fan to bettor a year ago, and as a fan you pass on so many fights and concentrate on the big ones. Gotta break out of that habit.

I'm considering this: Karzamin is moving from 154 to 160 to fight McKart. Both are old, though Karmazin was stopped badly by Bunema, and from what I hear, appeared dehydrated and lethargic. That was almost a year ago. There might be value in McKart here, taking the chance that Roman hasn't or can't recover.

I don't know bro

McKart is shot....I'm going the other way there

Karmazin's promoters have the bout....they've made a careful selection here

I saw Bronco's "draw" with Marquez and I thought Marquez clearly won

also McKart got really beat up in the rematch against Ornelas

you could be right....maybe Roman will be afraid to get hit after such a terrible KO

but I don't think so...I think he can outhustle Bronco for a decision

Don't get me wrong, I'm just throwing it out there from a brief look. I appreciate all the criticism, hell it stops me from making a bad bet! When ego and wallet meet, wallet usually prevails.

It's all good dude !

that's why we are all here....to talk this stuff out and make some money !

I was hoping for a better price on the over in the Vidoz-Skelton fight.

I see that one going the route, but -500 ! Too much !

Here's an interesting breakdown: Baldomir to beat Sugar Jackson.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3lzhtoPTWg&feature=channel_page

Basically the reasoning is that Baldomir's chin will hold up, that Baldy struggles with movers, which Jackson isn't. Jackson should be in front of Baldomir, who could pressure him to a points win. I've also read some negative things about Jackson from European posters at boxing forums who have followed him.

I only see one line, and it's Baldy +140. Considering the fight is in Belgium, along with his poor ko % and terrible recent showing, it's no go for me. Maybe other books will have him as a bigger dog.

Baldomir looked complitly shot in last fight against Perez, who is not a mover at all. In fact Baldomir was given very unpopular gift decision in this fight. I assume Dwyer have not seen this fight.
I have respect for Dwyer opinion, but on this one I think he made honest mistake by not watching Perez fight.
Baldomir was actually hurt by Perez:nono: Maybe Jackson will be second who stop Baldomir. But my prediction Jackson by UD. Besides it is right in hometown of Jackson. How he can lose to complitly shot fighter?

"the bunker"
help me out here guys.....who are these people that bonsu has beaten?...i don`t recognize a one of them...

how tall is he?...

could it be that baldomir`s strength and durability just don`t translate 7 lbs north of welterweight?...

graham certainly doesn`t appear enamored of bonsu...

it would be nice if 5 dimes started hanging numbers in a more timely fashion....getting a bit disenchanted with their work ethic....

maybe it`s the holidays...

edit..just watched parts of 3 fights and the only guy that didn`t run like a thief and held his hands up was the pole that beat him handily and knocked him down....

of course, that was in poland...maybe bonsu is one of those guys that`s a different fighter on home turf...

still like to see a line from 5 dimes or the greek...

c`mon guys,get with it......

I noticed that too!

5dimes just to have their lines online very fast...but they slipped quite a bit.

I dont know what to make out of that Bonsu vs. Baldomir fight....

The crucial question here is, how much has Baldomir left!

Well, IMO thats everybody's guess.

Apparently Bonsu hasnt looked good in his last two fights...

I think the odds are about right!

I just came on here to see if anyone knew what the fuck was going on 5Dimes......

They usually have weekend boxing fights by Thursday night at the latest (friday morning for weekend MMA). They still dont have an over/under for Vidoz/Skelton and that fight is hours away......

I have a decnt amt on alvarado-500 and a few bucks on the under+130. Both are scalp options now but I'm leaving it alone. Good luck tonight!
