Saints should be ripe for the plucking in Motown today - off of a really tough loss w/ 10 days to think about being officially eliminated for the postseason for the 2nd straight year despite lots of preseason hype - no win situation for the Saints today and not sure where the motivation will come from
Lions have been WAY more competitive w/ Orlovsky at the helm and gave the Colts a good run lw in Indy - really doesn't seem to me that the team has given up and have been really close to a W many times this year, most recently when they nearly beat the playoff bound Vikes at home a couple of weeks ago
The Saints D is atrocious and the thinking here is that the Lions will put up a bunch of points today - Kevin Smith here, Calvin Johnson there and just enough D to earn their 1st win of the season
