The one I'm talking about is the BCS rule that only 2 teams per conference can go to BCS bowls AND the one that gives a conference champ can go to a BCS Bowl....

NO way should the primetime game tonight, a BCS Bowl, be Cincinnati and an average Virginia Tech team...

Not when you have a Texas Tech team that is not in a BCS bowl.

This seems to happen every year - where one of the "Super" conferences have a team that gets screwed out of a BCS bid, due to this BS.

No way that either of the teams playing tonight is better than Texas Tech.

Talk about a blah game - it may be competitive, but I'll bet Mt. Union (Div III) gives either of these teams tonight a run for their money....

The ACC for football? Yawn. The Big East? Yawn again. Those are hoops conferences only - NO way do they deserve a BCS spot - not only this year, but most years.

JMHO.

Watching this game is like watching Grass grow....

These are NOT BCS teams - they do not belong in a prime time bowl.

Heck, Texas Tech has to play during the day tomorrow, when many folks are at work.....

They should have been a featured team tonight.

No, I'm not a TT fan - just like to see the best teams rewarded.

Cincinnati? Last time they were good was in hoops with Bob Huggins......

VTech? Not good this year......

I agree, its a "boring game" , would much rather see 2 teams that can compete with the elite.

This whole system blows. I liked it better the old way and there were usually 4 solid games on New Years day. Today sucked balls and these games after new years have lost their luster.

From New Years on, we should see GREAT GAMES, should not be watching Kentucky-E.Carolina tomorrow, Ball state a few days later. Just ridiculous, how do teams like Buffalo, UConn, Tulane get to play after NEW YEARS ???

The time right before and after Christmas should be game after game and today should be the last game besides the championship. Don't understand these other games. And yes I will be betting them:mj07: :mj07:
