Hmmmm... I like the over in this one. TT defense isnt that good so Ole Miss will be able to score... and Ole Miss's pass D isnt great... Both teams wont have trouble scoring...

Texas Tech Pass D 92
Texas Tech Rush D 45

Ole Miss Pass D 62
Ole Miss Rush D 6

Already on the OVER for the Cotton Bowl.

I want to think Harrell wants to come out and show a national audience what he is capable of after not being invited to the Heisman Award ceremony.

Big-12 defenses haven't been very good this bowl season (see Missouri/Oklahoma State).

6 of the last 7 games miss has played has gone under. Opponents are scoring just 17.8 ppg against Ole Miss, which has quietly played tremendous defense this season. Running the ball against the Rebels has proven to be nearly impossible, as the squad is holding foes to 83.9 rushing ypg and an average of 2.5 yards per attempt. The pass defense hasn't been quite as strong, allowing 11.4 yards per completion and 209.8 ypg, but Ole Miss does have the same number of interceptions (14) as passing touchdowns allowed. The Rebels are holding opponents to 30 percent success on third down conversion attempts and have a total of 36 sacks to their credit.
