Just curious - I'm seeing nearly everyone on Baltimore and Philly tomorrow...I do agree on paper these appear to be the better teams...I'm a huge Miami fan, but I really think Baltimore is a superior team this year and I just don't think Miami can match their physical play...in fact I have the line set at Ravens -10...I am so excited for the game, as I do want Miami to win, but I'm realistic and I always try to bet w/ my head..Baltimore seems like a very strong play...

Just wondering if anyone out there is biting on the home dogs tomorrow? This is the NFL, so won't be surprised to see either Miami or Minnesota win...

The majority liked Indy to roll tonight and they didn't get the job done, so interested to get your thoughts on who "the next SD" is...

Just realized this - both the 8-8 teams won today...weird...people kept talking about what a joke it is that the weak division winners w/ bad records were hosting playoff games, yet they won...gives me hope that Miami can pull off a win tomorrow...

From what I've seen, people have the least amout of faith in Miami to win out of any of the home teams...we did see today Matt Ryan look sharp at times, but then also make some mistakes...will Flacco be feeling the heat tomorrow? Can't wait to find out! GL w/ whatever you end up playing...still not decided on my end...I want to play the Ravens, but it's so hard to do that when one of your favorite teams is in the playoffs...

For some reason I can see both games going OVER the total tomorrow...Miami was at 38, Minnesota at 41...totals both seem a tad low...4 decent defenses involved, but I can't see both of these going under...interested in your thoughts on the totals as well...enjoy the rest of your night!

Save it, i'm a homer from philly , who has watched every snap this year. The eagles have lost 3 games with an inabaility to convert on short yardage. They have remedied this partially w/ klecko coming in at fullback. They have also lost a couple others when their receivers and Westbrook were out or unhealthy. They will have all their top guns at their disposal for this game and have started to see the value in using buckhalter in more plays. Their defense has been awesome , especially against the run. If the eagles can limit AP on 1st down and force Jackson to throw, it could be a long day for the Vikings. Assuming assante is healthy the eagles will blitz and he will lock down their top receiver. AP's knock has been poor blocking. If this happens and they get to Jackson or force to's minnesota will be forced to to make the difficult decision of protecting Jackson, w/ chester taylor , which would leave AP on the bench on certain situations. Minnesota has the worst turnover ratio of all the playoffs teams. The Eagles create turnovers. The Eagles biggest enenmy this year has been themselves, at times they have came out very flat on the offense side of the ball. Their D always shows up. Mcnabb's benching and all the shit he has heard from us Philly fans has lit a fire up his ass the size of mount vesuvias. With the additions of their short yardage package, buckhalters change of pace running which complements BWest, healthy receivers, energized QB, run defense, blitz packages against Jackson, 20 thousand rowdy eagles fans, I believe the eagles win. They have beaten minnesota convincingly in the last 4 meetings going back to 2001. If jackson can beat Jimmy Jones crazy blitz packages then I will tip my hat to the youngster. GL either way.

Looking deeper into the Eagles...........they really have been a questionable road team this year.......losses at Washington and Cincy(tie, just like a loss IMO) in games they really needed have me scratching my head.........

peterson gets 150 yds? the eagles have allowed an average of 88.5 rush yd/game in the last 4 games. and looking at the last game AP had 103yds against a 2nd string giants squad.
look for the eagles to shut down the vikes run game and force them to beat them in the air.

Ravens and Eagles

Ravens and Eagles

I think yesterday was a perfect example of having a rookie QB in the playoffs. I think everyone should trend lightly in these games. In the first meeting Pennington threw for over 290 yards. Another thing Pennington doesn't turn the ball over alot. I don't think you will see the wildcat at all as the Dolphins learned you can't gimmick against a good defense. As Baltimore may have superior talent the Dolphins have a big advantage at Quarterback. As far as the other game the teams playing in the domes have a huge advantage. Yesterday the defensive end for the Cardinals look like a pro bowler instead of the mediocre player he really is. Allen will be a force off the edge and unless the Eagles run the ball more I expect a few turnovers from Mc Nabb. Both of these games look to easy. I myself will stay off the first game but will take the Eagles in the second game. I do think that the experience at quarterback should be the difference. I would just advise bettors to becareful. As there will be better games to bet on in the second round.

Football teams don't rollthe same effort out every single week.Sometimes when a team shoots a tremendous emotional effort like say beating the cowboys inyour last home game of the season 500-6 or what ever their score was,a team might look at the 9-7 vikings and not be able to get quite as high for the game, might not study down and distance tendencies and formations like they should.how long has it been since Minnesota hosted a playoff game? They had a 6-10 ATS record this season,Phila 10-6 ATS and is off a huge rout of Dallas, simply,Minny will be giving the same effort this week that the Eagles did last week, that Arizona did yesterday.don't discount them for these reasons.GL

I feel with Minny that Peterson can have a huge game and they still can lose the game, Jackson won't he successful throwing against Jimmy Johnson period, Peterson has had big games this year and still come up short. Jackson needs to keep Philly off balance, if he's not able to do that Eagles win this one, They believe they can make a run and thats a dangerous mindset for Minny, McNabb and Westbrook slice Minny up and cruise in the 4th. BOL 2 all, I'm on a sucker bet with the Eagles/Ravens teaser 7pts.

Really thought the Ravens line would be moving up w/ seemingly the entire world on them...also alot of love for Philly - I've decided to do this - I'm taking both home dogs...

On days like this you have to take a step back and realize this: the books will need Miami and Minny to come in...they seem to be taking the position on Miami & Minny - honestly I thought this Balt line would be climbing today - it's sitting at -3.5.

Maybe I'm a sucker today, but I'm going with the miniority here...Miami & Minny are still 2 quality ball clubs, and do have the home field...probably ends up a split, but I'll take a shot here.

GL w/ your plays...

So the Eagles were up for Dallas to make the playoffs and the fact that it's Dallas but won't be for THE PLAYOFF GAME or for the fact that Childress was an old affiliate of the Eagles? Eagles just don't have the fans behind them, unless Minny gets up big early and the Eagles Have to press it and reach, they bring a glance attack and put up 28 pts atleast
