Im not sure what to think about this game... Public is 70% on Texas. I know you can basically burn your money by betting with the public but my gut says Texas... Texas is more physical and alot better than the Buckeyes. After seeing the Big Ten's performance this bowl season, Im not sure Ohio St matches up well with the Horns. Plus Ohio St has sucked these past couple of years in BCS games

Thoughts?

I played Texas -8. Main concern is that Texas won't be up for game because they were left out of BCS Championship. However, I heard McCoy on the radio and he has a great attitude and I think the team will follow his lead and blow Ohio State out. Ohio State is not real good this season and will have to play their best game to win or stay within td.

Having seen every down of every Texas game this year, I will put my two cents in.
You can question Texas drive to win this game but I think Mack will convince them this is a HUGE game by kickoff(even if it really isn't that huge).

My concern comes on the defensive side of the ball. Texas has not played a team this season who will control the ball and clock with a ground game.
The only team that tried to control the clock on Texas was OKST and they did an excellent job of it and gave themselves a chance in the 4thQ of that game.

I think Texas wins, but it will be tight throughout.

My play is OSU(+8.5) SMALL PLAY
Leaning towards an UNDER play as well.

problem is that Texas really has no motivation to win this game.

Unless pure talent kicks in and they overwhelm Ohio St should be a close game.

Texas dont need to win, place , or show.

With 80% on Texas and the line drops 2 points, The play is OHIO ST. Vegas isn't giving Texas backers a gift:nono:

does any team besides the Florida and Oklahoma have motivation to win? Utah seemed to have the perfect season but obviously that didn't matter

I'm a buckeye fan and thus biased, but from what I have seen in the bowl games, the Big 12 can't play D just like the media has discussed all year. OH State has a pretty good D and won't let Texas score like crazy. I think the value is with OSU. I lean toward the under, but the lack of D for Texas makes it a scary play. I think this is one of the better games this bowl season and comes down to a late FG.

Texas is FAR & AWAY the best defense in the Big 12.

You dont lead the nation in sacks, while being #2 overall against the run w/o being a good defense.

:nono: osu offense looked good last couple of games and texas can score with anyone..total goes way over 52..:00hour

i think you are under estimating the defenses that these teams have & how osu will play texas....but of course i could be wrong....& if that's the case please ignore what i just said.....:mj07:

Tough game to cap, but I'm not so sure it doesn't do much like the USC/Penn State game where Texas gets up early and State has to get out of their rhythm to try and keep up. Actually think it plays into UT's favor if State is running the ball. Horns are much better against the run than the pass with their young corners.

I am playing Texas small for some action and see it going either to Texas in a rout or anyone's game in a slugfest. No 49-42 stuff going on here.
