5 year look at Div. games w/how home team fairs given the extra week off.

home team straight-up winner in red 12 out of 20

visiting team straight-up winner in blue 8 out of 20

here is the site for closing lines ..

http://www.goldsheet.com/historic/histnfl.html
just find the year and team and numbers are there.

if some one cares to cut and paste some lines for any of the years just reply and mention what year.[edit...done]

otherwise I will try to finish it up.

most don't care anyway so no biggie..

numbers ..gotta love it

or if someone already has this broken down that will be cool..

please post it..

So Cal
Going back to 1990, home teams in this week are 55-17 or ~76.5%.

But in the last 3 years they are 6-6.

I'm leaning towards the 50-50 trend continuing. Pit and Car winning, NY and Ten losing.

bol on your plays........

gotta believe it ain't no cake walk for these home teams..

Personally believe Tenn. can get beat out-right at home.May not happen but the Ravens are going to give them all they want and more.

good luck my friend..

I will tease the schyt out of 4 of them and munch out all day long..

i think teasing is the way to go.....away dogs like the ravens and san diego haven`t had the tendency to get blown out of late....and their opponents aren`t inclined to blow folks out...plus you have to factor in that tenn/balt,n.y./philly and s.d./ pitt have already seen one another this year....

edit...they`ve all played each other..

the afc games in particlar look to be wars of attrition with neither team able to pull away....and looking to keep mistakes to a minimum...

looking to tease and throw an under or two into the mix.....

g.l....
