Posted Plays 13-3

I love the fact that most people are not giving the Chargers a chance in this game and think that the Steelers will roll. While I realize games in the past have no relevance to this game, this game reminds me a lot of the circumstances leading up the 1994 Steelers vs Charger game in Pittsburgh

:::eek:ne moment of silence please:::

that had the Steelers working on their super bowl shuffle video before the game:11jackson and that the Chargers won in similar weather conditions 17-13.

You can throw out all this Chargers are a warm weather team out the window. They are 16-1 the last 17 games in December. The Bolts are 2-0 in playoff games against Pittsburgh. Weather won?t be an issue. It was awful in their first meeting and the Bolts were leading most of the game until the last two minutes.

Chargers Defense has been playing much better after Rivera took over as the D coordinator and Pitts offense is pretty anemic. If the Bolts get an early lead, counting on Big Ben to bring them back is asking too much and could lead to a few INT?s. Ben holds on to the ball too long and the Bolts got to him 4 times last game when they were barely putting any pressure on anyone and are doing a much better now. The Steelers are counting on their D to win this game not on big Ben .

The Chargers are playing with house money now after starting the season 4-8 and making the playoffs and all the pressure is on the Steelers. While everyone is saying that the Chargers shouldn?t be in the playoffs and laughing at their 8-8 record, the chargers 8 losses this year were by a total of 34 points, which averages to little over 4 points per loss which is less then the Steelers total point losses of 37 points.

As a Charger fan I probably shouldn?t bet on this game but the Bolts are on a roll and are playing their best at the right time, +6 is a lot to pass up as I see a low scoring close game to the end. If the Bolts don?t turn the ball over, I think they win.
Just like I predicted on the Colts game (I apologize for thumping my own chest):mj1: the Chargers have the edge in special teams and could be a factor again.

Let's hope for another good game and good luck to all.
