I think Arizona w/ all the Steeler ties and Pitt connection would be better!! Just my opinion!! I always like the Whiz and Fitzhume so I am sort of a fan!
Arz pounds Philly...how can they not? Philly is junk and should not even be there. Defence...thats it and playing against this Cardinal team who can put pts up for fun...GOOD LUCK

I totally agree that Defences win championships and have you seen Arz's defence the last couple weeks?
I am just a philly hater, sorry to offend.....took beatings playing on them too many times this season and just cant see them getting past this weekend...then again I couldnt even see them making the playoffs.....so my opinion aint worth much.

AR is a loyal Giants fan. And most PHX people are fans of their old tired East Coast and Midwest teams. I used to not even find Cards fans on the rare occassion I went to game....or even saw it on television. But I attended the Rams game last month and the stadium was a sea of red & white.
I might not be alone this Sunday when I hit the sports bar in my circa '03 Boldin jersey. Strange days. indeed.
as bears fan who moved to az and was there when the cards moved out from stl, the org didnt come to town with a bunch of open arms awaiting them.......az really wanted an expansion team, not a retread team from stl owned by the bidwells.....they fuked up their pr from the get go by naming them phx and have had lukewarm support at best for the better part of the past 20 years.
most people from az are from somewhere else and still live and die for those teams (me bears), but we also will pull for the cards (although until now, there hanst been much to pull for).

I didn't adopt them til the mid-90's. '98 was a fun season, but pretty miserable otherwise.
I was a die hard St. Louis Cardinal fan.

I echo what gjn said... most people who have loyalties to other teams will still root for the Cards if their team is out. The new stadium, other than it's asinine location out in bumfuck Glendale, seemed to cause a lot of locals to give the team a shot as well.
