I don't think I've ever bet on so many small conference slow tempo games! All but 1! I've been back and forth this week on CBB, so today is the day to go forward!
Anyways, here goes....with small analysis
($200) Basketball - 574 Niagara -5? -115 for 1st Half
**Niagra is simply better than the very poor Iona Gaels. Iona struggles to score at spots, which Niagra will take advantage of. The fact that Iona wants to slow it down, Niagra wants to speed it up, and Niagra is at home is the X-Factor here. Too much team speed for Iona. Should be a blowout early.
($200) Basketball - 571 The Citadel pk -120 for 1st Half
**Simply put, Furman is one awful team. They're probably one of the 20worst teams in CBB. The Citadel is better than most think. They've had a brutal schedule since losing to Elon, but they've played very well. They've hung with some big boy teams such as SCarolina,Michigan State, and Davidson while Furman has been throttled by mediocre teams yet alone any top level teams.
($100) Basketball - 513 Northeastern/Delaware under 60? -110 for 1st Half
**This Northeastern team is a solid team, my pick to win the Colonial. Deleware is a tough out at home, but Northeastern will slow things down alot. Northeastern is probably the best defensive team Deleware has seen mayyybe all year.
($200) Basketball - 511 Connecticut/St Johns over 66? -110 for 1st Half
**3 Big East game and StJohns was only held U30pts in a half 1 time. On a flip note, StJohns only held their opponents U30, hmmm, well...NEVER. UCONN is the most offensively gifted of the 3teams and UCONN should have their National Coming Out Party. I think StJohns could keep it close within 10-15 for the game, but UCONN should have no problem dropping 75-80.
($200) Basketball - 509 Purdue -2? -110 for 1st Half
**At first sight of this game I really wanted to take the UNDER. However, just couldn't pull the trigger on 56. I was hoping to get the line around 59, but figured it would be lower! I think there could be some value in taking OVER56 as Northwestern isn't as offensively declined as usual. They're a better team then they've been in years. Sadly, they are probably still one of the 3 worst in the BIG 10 with IU&Iowa. Purdue is 100% with Hummell and Kramer back, and they just had a great showing against Wisky. I think Purdue is due for a big run while Northwestern is due for a brutal stretch that I wouldn't wish on anyone....Purdue,Minnesota,MSU,Michigan...EEK!
