Opened up at -6 now the line is -3. I know they played an OT game last night on the road but they are undefeated at home. Not sure why the line dropped? Which New Orleans team will show up the one who could not beat the Knicks at home which cost me a chance of an early retirement or the team that won at the Lakers?

From an article in today's Chicago Tribune:

James missed all six of his fourth-quarter shots for the Cavs, who also lost Delonte West to a fractured right wrist in the first quarter.

"This was my worst game of the season," James said. "I was sick, and when I get sick I miss layups and putbacks. It's tough out there when you can't breathe. But they did a good job defensively on me."

Yeah he is making excuses because as he said he had his "worse game of the year" and was the game leader in three categories with:
28 points
7 assists and
13 rebounds
Not sure why you would call the best player in the NBA Lebrick

Delonte West fractured his wrist last night leaving the Cavs short in the backcourt. I imagine Boobie Gibson will get the start, but someone is going to have to come off the bench such as Sasha Pavolvic. Cavs have struggled containing Chris Paul in past games against the Hornets, but they have been solid at home

You are from Ohio so obviously you are biased. Kobe is the best payer in the game. Lebrick was 8 for 28 and missed the game winning shot. Kobe is more clutch did you see the game winning shot at Houston and what at the time was the game winner at San Antonio. Kobe makes that shot last night that crybaby missed.:142smilie

So what's the status here with Lebron? He's sick but definitely going to play? But he definitely plays worse when he's sick?

I agree Kobe is the guy you want with the ball for the game winning shot. I don't judge greatness by that criteria alone. Lebron is a better overall player and makes his teammates better and yes I am biased because I am a Cavs fan living in the burbs of Cleveland. If I were starting a team and could pick, I would have to go with Lebron.

Lebron can pass better but Kobe can shoot better and plays better defense. Hopefully they can meet in the Finals I am sure David Stern will tell the officials to make sure that happens!

I would love to see the Lakers and Cavs meet in the finals. I used to watch the Lakers and root for them when I lived in Cali, back in the 90s. I agree Kobe is a better shooter, but defense is about equal, Lebron is a better passer, rebounder, shot blocker and team player (team attitude) although Kobe seems to have improved his attitude over the last 2 years. It's a fun debate to have and I would love to continue it during the NBA finals. Hope to talk with you then.
