ND should even be close to the rankings... Kentucky is ranked in one poll and not in the poll ND is ranked... How is that possible?

ND would walk through most of the SEC. They are a good team and typically very tough at home. I think they would be favored on a neutral court against all but maybe two SEC clubs.

Kentucky is in fact ranked ahead of them in the AP poll. Kentucky is playing pretty well right so its hard to argue about ND being better than them.

Looking at the Coaches poll, Kentucky is the only team behind ND that is clearly better at this point. Arguments could be made for Florida, Baylor and Washington I believe.

You won't have to worry about them. They will not make the tourney. Should be a tough NIT team though with all the home games.

Their record won't be great, but I believe they will be in the tournament at the end of the year.

Will probably be close. I see an 8-10 record in conference, 17-13 overall if they win the games they should (no more St. Johns games) RPI is I think 76 right now with only 1 quality win out of conference. Gonna need a few upset wins. I wish them luck though, they are fun to watch at times.

Thats what I dont understand.... Notre Dame has a 12-6 record coming into tonight... How are they ranked? Georgetown also with a 12-6 record and losing to 2 non ranked opponents last week...

Georgetown had a great win at UConn that really propelled their ranking a few weeks ago. They are good, but nowhere close to the Top 10 status they had a few weeks ago. Or as good as ND in my mind.

ND is much better than Georgetown in my mind. I know I sound like some kind of homer, but they are actually my team's (DePaul) biggest rival. I think ND will get the wins they "should" the rest of the way and then get a win or two in which they are dogs. They are capable to get a couple wins in the Big East tournament, but even if they go 1-1 they will likely get into the NCAA.

ND is a good team that has run into a brutal schedule that includes pitt next. uconn and quette are two very tough defensive teams that bothered nd in different ways. They won't be the elite of the big east because of thei soft d but they would give most teams fits and I would include uk in that. If they make the tourney a certainly dangerous low seed imo

How are they ranked? Unbelievable home court advantage until the latest slip-ups, along with Harangodhy (sp?) + McWhatever = Storylines.

Just my two cents on the matter.

I actually think ND would be good longshot bet to make Sweet 16. If they get into the tournament, that is. I know they dont play any d, but, not many teams have an experienced guard that can stay in McAlarney shirt like Marquette & UConn have. Ayers & Zeller are huge matchup problems when they are making their shots. Dont think Brey is good enough to coach them up for a run though.
