Weather delays Aces departure for Missouri Valley Conference game
Scheduled to fly to Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, the Evansville men's basketball team was still trying to get away this afternoon when the decision to postpone today's game at Drake was made.
The Aces will now play at Drake at 4 p.m. Thursday according to Drake's athletic website.
Weather made travel a near impossibility before today's 7:05 p.m. tipoff, necessitating the change. The Bulldogs are 14-7, 5-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference while Evansville is 12-7, 4-5. The Aces beat the Bulldogs 76-65 at Roberts Stadium in late December.
