Sorry, was coming home from church when BOST went to half. Doesn't look like I missed much... I'm sure I would have played BOST/Under and split, probably lost since I may have played the CELTS more. Hard to say.... but it really has to be bothering RIVERS why his CELTICS seem to fall apart after losing to the LAKERS!?!? What if that happens in JUNE if they meet???

I know how well CLEV is playing right now, and the way they have been closing out games. But this is the LA LAKERS, not the Grizzlies, or even the PISTONS. LAKERS are STILL not playing any defense, but when it gets to the 4th, I'll put my money on KOBE over LEBRON every time. Sure the LAKERS are a bit short-handed, but they have plenty of firepower with GASOL/KOBE and the rest. This game was lined at 4 overnight and I can now get twice that at +9 on LA. It may very well be a trap play, but I'll take KOBE and CO. plus nearly 10 EVERY SINGLE TIME no questions asked!

This is a lot to risk on one game, but I truly believe the LAKERS will come close to winning this game if they don't pull it out. The other reasoning is, if the LAKERS do not cover, it will be because of a lack of defense. Since I'm expecting a close game, I'm going with the possibility of OT and going with the OVER, and the FT contest at the end of a tight one. I think LAKERS win outright and the game hits 220.

NY has been playing much better as of late, and although they have been losing, they have played the three best teams in the NBA. They may not be able to get up for PORT after the likes of LA, CLE, and BOS, but they will not quit. NATE W wants to make a good return to his home state, and the other KNICKS should do their job as well.

NETS are dragging but hopefully we get the MAGIC to rest some guys later on in this one and get a 40 pt 4th qtr.

MIAMI is a great great defensive club facing a team without any offense.... can't see this one getting to 170.

WASH is one of the worse fading teams in the NBA right now... they play it close for awhile, but they have been getting killed late in games, and that's exactly what we want here, them to get killed late. We only need to win by 5, so I'm going big on INDY and hoping for a OFF dropoff from the WIZ KIDS.

Like the pace to slow in N.O. as these teams are missing lots of firepower. A Jefferson should get the ball a ton in 2H and play half court.

OKC have been going down to the wire in a lot of games and although the KINGS are horrible, they sould be able to outscore an equally bad THUNDER in the 2H as DURANT / GREEN should get some rest down the stretch if they still lead by DD.

Not sure why this game is so low scoring at the half, I didn't get to see any of it, but looking at the stats, it seems there is no reason to question this game getting near "normal" GST standards. Only 4 3's have been made by both teams so far, and that should double at least in the 2H of this one. Also, only 18 FT's have been attempted and that is quite low. I'm looking for the JAZZ to pull out a win on the road and do it in high scoring fashion!!

CARON scored the last 15 pts for the WIZARDS and single-handily shot down my day. He scored like 8 points in the last 30 seconds, hitting two 3's and the game winner. Amazing....

OH, and he was ill!

Anyhow, it took me from a winning day to a losing day as I ended at 6-6 -3.9 Units instead of 7-5 +4.5 Units. Huge difference as I had a QUAD play on INDY. It was looking like a 7 Unit SWEEP:scared , until someone rang for the BUTLER! :director:
