This may be dumb - but i have a ? - spent the weekend in vegas and played a little craps - my question is this if you bet the pass line and the number comes out as 10 and then you back your bet and get paid better odds. could a person bet both the pass and dont pass before the beginnig of the roll kinda like insurance (incase of 2,3,7,11,12) and then back both bets and make money off the better odds?? thanks
You can bet both sides on the come out and lay odds or place the odds behind after the number has been established but I don't recommend it. If the dice get hot, you'll lose much quicker because you're laying odds hoping for a 7.
The dark side is boring but once the number is established, you're with the house. Problem is, if the roller throws 4 or 5 7's or 11's on the come out, you're getting your clock cleaned or if he/she is rolling a bunch of numbers, you're pissed you're on the "Don't".
Craps is a lot of fun. Sure had a blast at Belterra with the guys........................well, maybe Kosar didn't care for craps too much.
"7 out!! And a 1-armed lady takes kosar to the floor!
Can't believe I missed that!
Good luck.
