you bet un75.5 for a 2H, the game is in the bag with 3minutes to go, team is up 14pts and you've got almost 30points to give...

then that team leading just lets the opponent back in the game by letting them real off 12 straight points in a matter of 1minute 30seconds

seriously, back the ball out, and milk the clock...just because you're up 14 doesn't mean its "my time"

good lord i'm tired of losing games like this because of ignorant shit

I had VA +8 and surprised I won. Being a UNC fan, I'm obviously biased...but NCSt is a 2nd class school and always will be. The biggest reason is that the fans take pride in it.

They constantly complain about things and sort of want to be good, but overall they would rather compete against Duke and UNC every so often than have a good consistent program.

The fans thrive on big upsets and see themselves as underdogs always having to overcome odds...the "cardiac pack" for life.

The funny thing about NCSt is...I had to endure all kinds of shit-talking after losing in football. I heard "41-10" for weeks.

UNC beat them handily twice in bball...and I don't even feel like saying a word. They may as well be Division 2 for all I care. But my god would I have heard about it, if State beat UNC.

Granted, would have been a huge upset...but I really feel like that's they way State fans like it. I'm around State fans a lot, and its like they love to be the underdog in a rivalry, and brag about wins and then its not a big deal when they lose b/c they were supposed to anyway.

I guess 26 years of basketball futility will do that. The biggest joke is that Sendek had taken them from one of the worst teams in the nation to a consistent top 1/3 in the ACC....this against the likes of UNC, Duke, MD...who all won a nat'l title during his career, and Wake who was pretty damn good too.

State fans make me laugh :)

I didn't find "blahh" funny. I wasn't bragging about getting VA, just was saying that NCSt as a program since late 80's is terrible and they are inconsistent....

unc blows a 16 pt lead in the second half. good thing they get a pass this year and do not go to clemson or wake. and to think some thought they would be undefeated!!
