I was crushed to lose in the semi finals of the ESPN mascot bracket contest to the Sun's Gorilla.

Michigan +1 x2

Wolverines on the bubble, need a win, especially on the road. Hawkeyes are always a go against on the road, but have been decent at home.

Minnesota -6 x2

Gophers always tough at home, need to themselves turned around in a revenge game against the Wildcats.

Arizona St. -7.5 x2

Going with another solid coach at home. Both teams had a week or more off afer beating up on the SoCal teams. Total seems a little high.

I'm on the under in the Iowa/Michigan game. No one can score on this Iowa squad but they play solid defense. Watching Iowa play has been painful this season, but profitable if you've been betting their games under the total...

Wayne, this is ironic. NDST did come up as a play yesterday and with all the games I just missed it. Caught it when I was charting yesterday's games. Today the play is the fav at Iowa. The line just moved to Mich -1. Great two days and good luck again today.

If the kid was here I was planning on going to todays game, too. No luck yet--I'm telling her she can't have him until march 2nd or later now--state bowling tourney in Dubuque next weekend and if he shows later than Wed I'm a no-show...

The 10 dollar deal is all about butts in the seats, Wayne. Better to get 'em in the door and sell them 8 dollar buckets of crappy popcorn then to have them empty. And they are still not selling the place out. When I had season tix, it was sold out every night and you could make a buck scalping them if you couldn't go to the game yourself.
Too bad season is winding down; It would be great to catch a game with you. If the women make the NCAA tourney, they will host the 1st two rounds at Carver--maybe we can catch one of those games....
