YTD Record: 1-0 for +2.1 units
One early one to post. It?s the postponed game from last night. Same pitchers will be going so still like the play. Postponements typically help the road team as they have another night to get settled before playing, but I don?t think that matters too much here.
Ole Miss -155 (vs. TCU) for 2 units ? TCU is the early season surprise after upending Cal State Fullerton in 2 of 3 in the first weekend. There were high expectations for the Rebels coming into the season as seen by their top 10 pre-season ranking. Despite a ton of hitting, they lost a couple games the first weekend to some pretty inferior foes. These two also faced off early last year in a series @ Ft. Worth with TCU taking 2 of 3. Two power pitchers go tonight in Jr. Tyler Lockwood for TCU and Jr. Aaron Barrett for the Rebels. Barrett is in his first year for Ole Miss coming from a JuCo where he was a standout. Ole Miss settled down from the opening weekend disaster in pummeling Central Arkansas during the week. On paper they are one of the most complete teams in the country and it now looks like they have woken up and are ready to be play like that.
Looking at the other games in a bit and will likely have a couple more plays.
