I love Aruba. If you want sun everyday it's a great place. Don't look for any lush tropical scenery though, as it is a desert. Trade winds blow hard every day, but if you want to zone out on the beach or the pool all day it is perfect. All inclusive is ok Just make sure you pick a big property that has enough variety and lets you go to all restaurants with your package. Not all of them do.. Also part of Arubas charm are the restaurants. El Gaucho is the second best steak house I've ever been to.
Ben Benson's in manhattan is the best. ElGauch ranks ahead of Peter Lugers and Ruths Chris IMO.
Also there was a pier bar I think outside the Marriot, which had the best happy hour/ sunset in the world for my money
