I guess I havent paid enough attention to how you do this so I am curious:
the % on some days seem to add to more than 100% so are these "units" or actual bankroll percentages?
As the day goes it would seem if it is a % that the wager amount would of course change based on the movement in bankroll - so you cant just and and subtract % to know how a day went right?

SUN YOU GOT IT AND DAYS LIKE TODAY OR LIKE DURING THE BOWLS I DO IT IN STAGES- I ALSO GO BY CURRENT BR AFTER WITHDRAWLS AND FIGUR E MY BR USUALLY EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS OR ONCE A WEEK AFTER IT IS FIGURED I START ALL OVER AGAIN SO IF MY BR FOR THAT DAY STARTING OUT IS 1000 THEN a 5% IS 50 -I START OUT IN EACH CAPPED SPORT WUITH 10K- CBB IM AT 42K I HAVE TAKEN 20K IN WITHDRAWLS SO STARTING MONDAY I WAS AT ABOUT 22K THEN I REFIGURED THIS MORNING USUALLY WHICH I DO AFTER A BAD DAY I LOST 7400 YESTERDAY SO MY WAGERS WERE BASED ON 14K TODAY - HOPEFULLY THIS MAKES SENCE TO YOU BUT THIS IS HOW I MANAGE MY BETTING MONEY
MSU UNDER 73 3% 2H NICE MIDDLE HERE AND THINK MSU TIGHTENS THINGS UP A BIT-FOULS SHOULD NOT COME INTO PLAY

What would you say you bring in on a normal calendar year from your capped sports??

if your bk roll was around 20,000 starting Thursday and you figure 5% =$1000 (if 1000 br = 5% = $50).......I figure you lost over 60 % thursday........How could you only have lost 7400.......
If br was 20,000 60%= -12,000
Now if your BK was 20,400 and you lost 7400 thursday then I assume thats where you are starting at 14,000 today...........
Just trying to learn this but I cant see how you lose over 60% yesterday yet only lose $7400 when a 5% is equal to a $1000 bet........
Can you tell me how you are doing this???
I need to learn.

The details are reasonably simple.
As an example of a money management system, they're great. Inquiring into another man's finances is a different matter, in my opinion. I know no offense was intended.
10,000 bank roll to begin. (Hypothetical, but realistic for many of us here.)
5% bet is $500 and 4% bet is 400. Only two bets of the morning and both lost? New bank roll for this afternoon is $9100 and a 5% bet for next session's games is $405 and 4% is $365.
I use the percents as a guideline and only adjust my 10K bankroll up or down once/day, the next morning. Sort of like a jump shooter who keeps plugging away even on a bad day. The losses might accumulate faster on a bad day or be a little larger but using Thunder's picks my a major 'capping aid, comebacks from morning to afternoon are pretty much the rule for Thunder rather than the exception.
After a bad day, I make my unit smaller (300 instead of 500-1000) cuz my bankroll is smaller. Thunder does the same. In line with the question about how much Thunder makes from gambling, I think someone should also ask him the size of his penis . . .
Personal questions you guys!! YOU decide the size of your unit. And keep the size of that other unit between you and your loved one.
Actually, as a long time player in this game, I understand the strong desire to know whether there are many gamblers out there or on MJ's who are consistently winning and even making a living from betting. I can answer.
No. Many win very consistently but of the thousands and thousands of us here, I'm guessing that no more than a dozen or two are really sustaining themselves just with gambling.
The vast majority of the guys in here get hot streaks and then cool off. Begin following one of them at the wrong time and you'll watch a rapid regression to the mean and you'll lose while they just drift back to zero or a small gain or loss based on what they did before you joined them. Yes, it's fun to follow Thunder, GSP,Hawkeye, Woodson, Steel, and Titus but even these guys have bad days or weeks. Best thing to do: if you have medium level 'capping skills, do a little on your own and feel how they look next to just one of the really consistent posters.
Just one. Make your "real" plays following that person, or maybe two people (I strongly recommend Thunder and GSP) and ignore even the best of the other guys. You'll end up with fewer plays and a higher win percentage.
Also, for God's sake, quit nitpicking Thunder's wins or losses. He's not "going service" and fibbing to us. His math might be different than mine or yours on any given day and I don't give a shit because tomorrow's a whole new day!! Albeit with a slightly larger or smaller BR and slightly larger or smaller bets.
