Not really - fact is Memphis might be the most overrated team in NCAA history. WHo did they play this year that was arguably worth a shit?

thing is ...when ref's thread fine against this def and start to give them foul calls for every hit they provide ....it collapses and the "thecnical team "gets its way:shrug:

Remember that a team is never as good, or as bad as they looked in their last game. I wouldn't overreact and say this MU team is unbeatable. Watched alot of their games this year and they can go on some ICE COLD scoring droughts. During the regular season they routinely only played one good half...often putting up a clunker in the first only to put a blitz on in the second.

Yes they did. It didn't seem as high octane as missu.

but they are running out of gas

I would agree to a degree, but would say Ville's D is better overall. Just off of a couple of stats, Mizzou gets 18 TO's/game from opponents while the Cards muster 16/game. Missouri let opponents shoot 41.5% while Louisville had opponents shoot 39.4%. Ville also had a tougher SOS.

Regardless, both clubs play good defense and it has been a trademark of their play this season.
