One play for today:

Clemson +110 (@ South Carolina) for 2 units ? Today and tomorrow?s games are makeups of postponements from the first weekend of March. South Carolina has a slight edge in offense between the two teams. Pretty decent edges in the bullpen and starting pitching goes to Clemson in my opinion. Junior Justin Sarratt starts for Clemson. Sarratt has a 3.81 ERA; 0.88 WHIP; .200 opponents avg. and 20 K?s in 26 IP. As shown by the WHIP, he?s a very controlled pitcher as he has only walked 4 batters so far this season. Sarratt had a really good start against powerful Georgia last week giving up 1 run in 8 IP and striking out 12 before his closer blew the game in the 9th. Gamecocks send Senior Jay Brown to the mound for the start. Brown has some good stats with a 1.96 ERA; 1.31 WHIP; .224 opponents avg. and 13 K?s and 9 BB?s in 18 1/3 IP. Brown has started 3 games this year, however the teams he has faced are no where near Clemson?s level of talent. Sarratt and the Clemson pen should be able to shut down the Gamecock bats and even this prolonged series at a game a piece.

Looking into the Arizona State/Arkansas game, but likely will just stay away from that one.

Lost the one play yesterday as Clemson blows a 1 run lead in the bottom of the 9th. Updated record: 25-22 +15.35 units

Three plays today:

Clemson -150 (vs. South Carolina) for 2 units ? Gamecocks have now won 6 straight over Clemson, it has to stop eventually right? Despite last night?s loss I still have faith in Clemson to get it done. South Carolina used a couple of their better relievers last night, which should come into play as they won?t have an experienced starter going tonight.

East Carolina -150 (@ UNC Wilmington) for 3 units ? both clubs coming off of losses on Tuesday. Wilmington lost 10-2 to NC State, making it 8 straight they have dropped. ECU fell 3-1 to highly ranked North Carolina on Tuesday. This is the second meeting of the season as ECU won two weeks ago 3-0. The #15 Pirates have a huge advantage offensively in this one and that is the driving factor. All offensive categories show ECU?s edge highlighted by the fact they have slugged twice as many HR?s and score on average 4 more runs. Both teams are starting Freshman that have had limited experience so far this year so the starting pitching is pretty even. ECU has a slight edge in the pen, and it is even more when considering Wilmington also used 6 relievers last night including a couple of their better ones while ECU only used 2. The Pirates should be able to hang quite a few on Wilmington.

Oklahoma +105 (@ Wichita State) for 5 units ? Really similar to the ECU play. You have a ranked team that is on the road but is head and shoulders above the other offensively. OU has a team batting avg. of .341; slugging % of .577 and scores almost 10 runs a game. And they have the nation?s #32 SOS. Starting pitching is sketchy for both clubs. Junior Garrett Richards goes for Oklahoma and his stats are not pretty. 7.77 ERA; 2.01 WHIP and I don?t need to go much further than that. Richards started the season as a weekend starter but his poor performance bumped him to midweek starts. The guy is a hard thrower that can throw in the mid-90?s but obviously has some control. A light hitting team like the Shockers should help boost his stats some. Wichita St. counters with Freshman Brian Flynn. Flynn?s stats aren?t great either as he has a 5.87 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP. Sooners have a definitive edge in the bullpen and with questionable starters, that could definitely be a factor this evening.

2-1 for +2.75 units tonight. Oklahoma hammered Wichita St. 15-0, Clemson wins 7-5 and ECU loses 8-3.

Some of the weekend series actually start tomorrow due to the holiday schedule. Probably a few games with lines so may have a play or two.
