I follow Texas very closely. I find it interesting that a lot of people are on them today.

Kris Benson??? What does he have left? To me, he's a complete wildcard. Hard to say whether he gives up a bunch of runs or shuts the Tigers down. I'd go with the former, not the latter.

Galarraga has been very solid so far in his career. Texas is going to score a lot of runs this year, obviously, but don't see that happening today.

A much better pitcher against a guy that you have no idea how he will perform, on their home field?

I'll take the Tigers.

King - good point about Laird. I agree.

Dickie - line movement, well, it's hard (for me, anyway) to really tell what that means.

Hot bats? Yep, I'll give you that. Do you think it's going to be easier to crank it off of Benson or Galarraga?

Record and ERA are too small of sample sizes.

I think it all comes down to how well Benson pitches,and I'm betting it won't be good enough.

how you can not take +130 here on a lineup that just put up 29 RUNS IN 3 GAMES! in a park like detroit with power allies you could park half the stadium in...

looks like they'll win this one, but we did see the braves blow a 10-3 lead in the 8th the other day.

I wish I'd gone bigger, but can't justify when you haven't seen a guy for so long...

I think he'll be a fade all year.
