looking at the monday series openers and mid-week series...

cubs with a 2-game set at wrigley to open the season... like them to win both. don't know if there'll be odds on the series, but we'll see in the morning. -140 tomorrow with lilly taking on jimenez. idk if i'll be taking those odds after jimenez's performance in arizona this week.

not touching houston/pittsburgh... like i said, not touching the central except the cubs or brewers until one of em shows me something.

may be looking at the over in philly/washington. it's posted at ov9 -125 at the moment. :-/ although washington's hit florida's and atlanta's pitching well so far and i can see this one getting a little wild.

dodgers. dodgers. dodgers. sweep.

mets? hmmm... are they gonna wake up?

reds at brewers: like the way the brewers are hitting; they got to zambrano, harden and lincecum. and they won't have 25k cubs fans in town draining their home field adv.

not touching st louis / arizona... both bats' are suspect and pitching is iffy.

like the way the white sox bats have come around the last few games and with floyd & danks startin off the series in detroit... i like them to take at least 2 of 3. the bullpen (with the exception of macdougal is throwing pretty good.)

yanks at rays? let's see which yanks team shows up tmw and i may take burnett on tuesday, depending on how big a yankees tax we get.

it's dangerous against their bats, but i like the uehara looked against the yanks and i think he can hold the rangers down enough to let the o's outscore em tomorrow. the rest of the series.... OVER. OVER.

so cleveland won a game, huh? they may win 1 of the next 3. grienke's money, at at only -124 tmw at home, it's like we're gettin a discount for how carmona pitched in 07.

i'll probably go DOG, DOG, DOG, TOR(halladay) for this 4-game set, and probably take TOR if they're the dog for the series.

boston... wtf? can't go against 'em.

braves. probably some more overs in turner field this week. marlins and braves are hittin the ball well and i like the braves to win at least 2 of the 3 with vazquez, lowe, kawakami going tues-thurs.

sox bats still on fire. 20 or 22 base runners today, like 15 hits. i like the sox to sweep this series.

same with the northsiders' bats! they're getting lots of runners on and are hittin it hard.

let's hope the mets bats continue to perform tonight and can get a 1-0 series lead as the white sox did today.

i am hoping the bosox bats pick it up a bit.

good luck today, everyone!

the cubs got 1 run in in the 2nd with the bases loaded. left 3 on! then they left em loaded again in the 2nd! i hope jimenez stays in one batter too long. they should have a nice 4-0 lead by now. this cold weather favors that over really well. pitchers are not gonna be throwing quite as hard and won't be controlling the sliders and off speed stuff as well. i don't like just a 1-0 lead with lilly on the mound, he could give up a walk, hit and a jack pretty quick and all of a sudden we're down.

okay, who are these guys in san diego's uniforms and what did they do w/ the padres? seriously... where is this hitting coming from?! and fuckin' a mets! put some runs together!

oh. and wang sucks big wang.

oh yeah... the reason i didn't pay -260 on the mets is b/c of their wonderful showing in florida and the padres peculiar run production over the last week.

GLAD I laid off the yankees for the series. i was concerned about game 1. guess i was right to, :-/ tok em small cause it's gonna be a rare thing to get them as dogs in any game.

they better put wang on the DL or something. option him to AA... whatever they do, he is not the same as before he tried to round 3rd base. lol.
