LOL! I am sure you were worried!

Heading out to Atlanta, will be attending the Aaron's 499 race weekend at Talledega. Never been to a NASCAR event, but this includes the Aaron 312 on Saturday and the Aaron's 499 on Sunday.

Should be fun, sitting in Tri=Oval tower, and have infield passes on Sunday. That should be pretty cool!

This is one of my father's dreams to go to a "Big" NASCAR event, and so my sister went all out and got the package, I am glad I got the invite! ;)

I have never been to an event like that.

Been to several regular season events like NFL, NBA, NCAA Fb and BB, an NBA All Star game, SuperBowl, World Series, and for a regular event, that was one of the greatest sporting events I have ever attended!

Rented the Sprint Scanner for the weekend, Aaron's 312, and 499, and was in to it! Had pit passes, might not have been worth it, as you need a hospitality and "Hot" pit pass to gain access to driver's unless they were at their trailer selling their merchandise.

myracetravel.com is who organized our event, and with whom the package was booked. Stayed at Altanta Airport Hilton, staff was fabulous, and then loaded buses for the 1 1/2 hour drive each morning, once you arrive in Talledega, we had a police escort into the facility, and wow was that sweet. Otherwise the wait to get in and out if you drove would have been hours, seriously hours!!

Had great seats for the action, Tri-Oval Section "B" row 47.... could see the whole track, and they are steep seats, so you felt and were very close. The Edwards accident:

started to the left of us by about 20 yards when the back-end was clipped, and then took air literally in front of us, and then into the fence about 50 yards to our right. WOW!! Was that amazing!!

The amount of people, how clean the grounds were, how friendly the people were, and professional was amazing! (There were some die hard redneck types, a bunch of mullets to be sure, but the crowd was awesome and friendly, and way more professional than expected!)

The 4 of us believe this may become a yearly thing for us, looks like our next one may be Briston next March! SOme pics from the race site should be up in a copuple days, I will place those up, and when I get the film from one throwaways we bought I will post those. Got several pics with the crews during the pit pass, and then Bobby Labonte's crew was handing out Lugnuts from their car, the #96 Ask.com Ford. LOL!! So we got a few of those, and my son loved it! Also got several shirts, hats, etc.

Overall, this was an A+ event, and will not be my last.
