#cruncher,
its easy to say after the game's over.... I'm not trying to be a dick, so don't take it wrong..
but one of the few pitching stats that I believe is worthwhile is:
A pitcher's specific history vs the individual players on the team he's facing...
Peavy has very strong stats in that area... Kershaw too, and has been very strong at home going into tonite...
and those stats held true to form... for tonite at least lol...
and, it was a cool, damp evening in LA....
that added up to an under for me...
See how easy it is to say after the fact... :mj07:
I know this.... if stats and performance history always held true, it'd be easy to pick winners...
but they don't, and that's what makes it frustrating...
Thats why I personally don't enjoy spending time handicapping much at all.... just a few things to look at, a few other cappers.. and either play it or pass...
I know a few guys that would spend hrs and hrs ckg angles everyday on all kinds o' chit... and still end up around even...
Players and teams run hot and cold... and sometimes u figure it out in time to make some $$ from it lol...
shake it off buddy... lots of games still ahead... chin up!! cya tomorrow!
