I will be working away from home and won't be back for 4 weeks. So I will see you guy's then.

The last 2 weeks have cut into my profits pretty good (Jermain "the brain" Taylor with 14 seconds and Ricky "Flattened" Hatton steaming in with no head movement).

It is time for me to take a step back.

My first "ASTRONOMICAL" bet of the year will be Khan to beat Kotelnik in June.

I think it will take a guy with hurting power to nail Khan and Kotelnik does not have that type of power.

Good luck in the future fella's!!! See you all in 4 weeks :toast: :toast: :toast:

You're a good capper Paul. I'm not so sure about betting the house strategy though. ANYTHING can and does often happen in this sport. My wager on Margo over The Juice absolutely killed me earlier in the year. You'll come back.

I'm not one to try and sway bettors one way or the other but Kot is one tough Ruskie. He got the attention of the very strong maidana. Maidana is much more durable than Khan. If a softie like lomand can hurt khan then Kot can certainly do so. Having a chin like Khans, especially @ 140 lbs does not bode well for him. Not trying to sway you but my money is on the Ruskie. Good Luck and see you in a few weeks.

I thought you already placed an "astronomical" bet on Khan to beat Barrera!?

You make a fair point, Kotelnik is not a hard puncher and the fight is in England...though Kotelnik is still pretty good and I'm not sure if you need to be a huge puncher to hurt Khan....still, I think you have a good shot!

What a great fight that is...Ortiz vs. Maidana!

Very good matchmaking.

BTW, the four of them could fight in a tourney!?:)

Khan to beat Barrera was my biggest bet of the year. Around $7,000. I would hope to bet more on this fight.

Good luck all :toast: :toast: :toast:

Essentially it is a tourney. The winner of Khan Kotelnik is going to have to face the winner of Ortiz-Madaina.

very tough fight for Khan. he is fast and has skills but Kot will not go away easy, he impressed me against Maidana. that was a great fight. He looked shitty against rees though.
But Khan is always one punch away from disaster, i dont like that as a favorit bet.

@Mayorga Fan
oh, I didnt know that. Thats good news!
Even if Khan beats Kotelnik -which is no gimme- he will have a lot of trouble to win this tourney...
;-)

@tony
Excatly! I like the way you put it: "He (khan) is always one punch away from disaster"...
