Had to drive to SF and back Fri- Sat.
Put in my Den play and a parlay with the over Friday before I left. Always nice to get home and see the forum on the same. Now if they would only make some free throws we can hit this over.

Sorry I wasn't around fellas. I was enjoying the games today in my brand new room. Another 1U side winner but I never bought back my O bet for .5 U. Not a bad day. It was a very profitable APR and hoping to continue in MAY.

Based on the regular season and despite their strong finish, not sold on the Mavericks - they seem to be close to going over the edge more often than not; besting a tired and old Spurs team (pointed out repeatedly before the playoffs) may be illusory and a mirage.
Billups, on the other hand, has changed the culture in Denver and can compensate for any shortcomings that Karl may have as a coach. It's pretty much the same squad as last year minus shotblocker Camby - the difference b/w Iverson and Billups as a lead guard/1 is stark in its revelation and for basketball purists, demonstrates that you still need a pass-first mentality from that position to advance - for all of his physical gifts, it would be kismet/karmic if Iverson should retire w/o ever having realized a championship (an experience he's mentioned that he's surprised he hasn't tasted as of yet), especially in light of his me-first proclivities on the court this season (TJ Ford who looked up to Iverson before entering the league and plays much in the same manner is more than deserving of his Me-J moniker)...
