I know this is late but with so many on the Over in the LAL game why hasn't that line moved all day. Maybe the Under folks are on to something:shrug:

Yeah Griff - talk about late - I was surprised u didn't predict the lakers to come out as they have - and make some 1Qtr/2 Qtr predictions. I last read this thread way earlier today - was surprised to hear/see all the 'Cvers-like' - B.S. - shit talk goin on since I last visited. I came back on about 10 mins b4 the game started - cause I thought: " man, it makes sense the LAL's would be really pissed and jump out big - so I made a small wager on -3.5 1 Qtr.
But on a more important note, what I locked into this AM was the idea that both teams (Bost/LAL) would, at the very least, win ML ( seemed only thing w/out debate) and the idea off parlaying these w/another game. I parlayed them with all of my MLB bets - abt 12 and believe I will do quite well.
Lastly, did parlay the Favs points w/ 2 late B'ball games (small) - the logic being in these spots, teams that are good want to crucify the other team - we'll see. So far worked w/re: to Bost game. I'd say that was a crucifiction. :director: :firing:

To those who don't know, Ax moved to this site a couple of months ago from a site across the street due to the amount of sh*t talking going on over there and was kind enough to bring along a select few of us with him. What this man does for us, sharing his expertise and picks on a daily basis is priceless. He has never once thought of going "tout" and has always replied to every one of my questions promptly and with class. I have learned soooo much about capping NBA this season from Ax and he has never once asked for anything in return. Totally turned my season around and I was hoping to share ideas/picks with him on MLB (my bread & butter) but I have a feeling that we may not hear from him for awhile (if ever).
If I were in his shoes, I'd probably stay away too. It's unbelievable how unappreciative some people can be.
Ax, you are a true class act and if I should never see your posts again, I'd like to thank you for all you have taught ALL of us this season and I wish you and yours nothing but the best. You will be sorely missed my friend.

Been a little gun shy this week. Personally been getting killed the last 3 weeks. This week for me started Tues and if I played everything I like would be 5-0 but I needed to cut back this week and see what my problem is. Think I figured it out though. I don't listen to Ax enough.:mj07: That's not true just some of the bets that you guys do even when I like them I can't do becuz my local book sucks.lol
As for the B.S. that's just a guy that doesn't know what our (Ax's) thread is about. It a place to come and talk out why you like one play over the other that's it. I've went against Ax's leans before and everyone elses. Sometimes it works and most time it doesn't. But you know what they say when I do, BOL. I give my reason why I like what I do and as I said the other day I'm not a #'s guy like most here. I read the spreads decide what I like then use the numbers to figure out why I shouldn't like it. Yeah I could do the samething and not come in here and post anything but what fun would that be. Look, we all have the same goal, win money for ourselves! But if we can help someone else and ourselves and have fun doing it what is wrong with that. If someone wants to lurk and just read our picks not taking in all of our other talk then so be it but don't say shit when U don't understad this thread. I better stop now, as U can see I'm not happy about this and was trying not to say something in my last post.

Another great day with value play. Thanks Ax for this insight which I used to made some profits pairing them up with some bases plays. Can't beat +230 plays.

Very good points and others have made also reminding us what we're here for - WOW, Love the -pts and Over - had it parlayed w/actually 3 other MLBs for 1/5 Unit - very good night. :toast:

Yeah and one of the Houston Execs threw out one of his own guys - if you're in the NBA - we all know they (secretly) love this stuff imagine what it does to the ratings for next game. If yer not makin $$ on the NBA ( like us) I would just as soon have it be over with - focus on MLB - but there are some real gems like these 2 games. Think it was kinda known b4 it happened. Went, in a way, alot like u called the Cavs game the other day. Now we get to watch the 'talkin heads'. Be back for more tomorrow. Enjoy - Gunny :SIB
