Gouldsmith's job safe in your opinion? Just curious if you had a thought either way. Got some ties to him way back in the late 80's early 90's here in Northern California. Been hoping for a little more, I know injuries have been a problem.

I have known Buddy since the mid 90' i sent him and Jim a handful of guys to tulane, from miami dade cc.

Was shocked when the gave him the job after Jim botled to tcu after a few good years, He was a ok guy when it came to recruiting but a whole different story when it comes to coaching, he is very weak in on the field and practice task. I don't picture him being around much longer.

Also once the hammer falls Buddy will be out of baseball IMO, just has not been around long enough to make a name as a coach or as a asst. coach.

very nice guy and puts lot of time in to the job but just not solid enough on the field.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see him hired to replace Schlossnagle too. Woulda prob better served him to go learn under someone else for awhile at that time. Thanks.
