This Denver team could fail to answer the bell in a must situation and they could be forgiven as we've all made a good bit on them thus far in the playoffs.What a run!But I do think they have one more unreal effort in them,(at least.)Now that 'Melo's record tying streak of six straight at 30+ in playoff action has been broken with the inevitable one bad game in seven,I look for him to come back with a bigtime game,Billups will hit as many as he missed from three on Saturday(he kept shooting them though,god love him),JR Smith Nene,I look for them all to be more effective offensively and finally to get an over in this series.The emotion will be worthy of the kind of effort that yields an over.Denver would be wise to get in front and stay there.They will try to not let this one be in doubt at the 2 minute mark. I know,teams try to do this every game,but the magnitude of this one,well ,a loss is a sure fire season ender for Denver with two out of the last three in LA.The Lakers may not bring the #1 effort they did in game three,having re-secured homecourt in Saturdays win.It will be difficult to match Denvers need/effort in this game.They know they need this one and game six at home at minimum to achieve their dream of an NBA finals and they will play with their hair on fire.As great as I know the Lakers are talent wise,I am looking for Denver to shoot a very heavy emotional load (high scoring effort) today.Denver-3,over 105 first H,Denver-3-(-130) and over 208 (-120) for the game.It's not that I don't think the Lakers can play great defense,its that I don't believe they will think they "have to" today and they won't get as up as they need to be.I'm going to the gym.GL to all handicappers
