Well they are great new but after 90 thousand miles this is becoming a nightmare unless this mechanic is a a tad shady. The problem is always the electrical system. These Modules all seem to be going. She replaced four a few months ago and now this mechanic who once said there were like twelve of them now says there are over a hundred of them. Each module is very expensive. The girl needs every thing working properly. Now if this was me i wouldn't get half of this stuff fixed that she is. These cars are no picnic to fix. Simple oil change u have to weigh the oil instead of just changing it like most cars.

they say you cant drive a Benz on volks wagon money, cars look great drive like a fucking race car with glue on the tires but ONCE the problems start...unless you go to the Benz dealer (for hundreds of dollars an hour) there may always be problems.....I hope your buddy isnt being shafted by a shady mechanic but 7 times out of 10 she probably is. Weighing oil? WTF is that all about, do oils weigh different weights? Mobil 1 heavier then Castrol say? I've always wanted to purchase a Mercedes but everytime I too serious about it, I emebr my buddy and his 500SL.....it was so much fun and was a chick magnet until the 1st problem, then it became a money pit....and he had the thing at the Benz dealer being serviced...finally few thousands of dollars later he got it back to being a chick magnet, but what a damn headache. BoL with it, mechanics need to be put out of work by robots, well atleast the ones that lie and scheme on people who have skills with turning wrenches
Who says i have Volks wagon money? It is a little closer to Yugo. Im reading up on this car and it isn't pretty. All sorts of problems.
