Was noted prior to election on Gumby's inabilty to make decision--voting present in Senate over 100 times--thought he could do that once pres--but appears he's found a way.

2 biggest issues were defense and economics pre election.

His stance on wire tapping-rendition-troop withdrawals-gitmo timeline--you name it he's flopped (taken both sides) of bout every issue.
What ever outcome he can do the ole Kerry--I was against it before I was for it.

Economy--believe he learned his lesson with per above on fantansy projections that can be statistically exposed.

He's now on the created or saved hoax which can't be measured.

Regardess if we lost 6 million jobs--with his "creative" accountants he merely has to say--

Without my stimulus we would have lost 10 million--I'm Gumby Damit :)

However believe even liberal media is not that blind--even AP on his ass now.

Obama repackages stimulus plans with old promises

Neither the acceleration nor the jobs goal are new. Both represent a White House repackaging of promises and projects to blunt criticism that the effects haven't been worth the historic price tag. And the job estimate is so murky, it can never be verified.

The economy has shed 1.6 million jobs since the stimulus measure was signed in February, far overshadowing White House announcements estimating the effort has saved 150,000 jobs. Public opinion of Obama's handling of the economy has declined along with the jobs data.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My question to O would be if recovery has worked so well-since stimulus--and he has spent less than 10% of stimulus money--evidently any recovery has been on its own and we didn't need stimulus in 1st place. :shrug:

I do not think Obama has done much for the working man struggling to pay his mortgage but we have to remember the state of the economy in the final days of Bush. The country was almost shut down and the market was on the brink of failure.. So in that respect the country, although still fragile, has made great gains since then. The market seems to be recovering nicely.
Now, he has to straighten out this Health Care mess we are in and he also has to keep those big oil boys in place.

Agreed, no way he can help the WORKING man at this present time due to so many OTHERS that are or were in much more need. Its as if O took the economy over with plenty to look forward to....funny how all the INTELLIGENT ones seem to understand O is struggling to get the nation on track but fail to realize due to the previous administration it is this way, its all O's fault...good thing IS we are headed out of a state of emergency or as you said on the brink of failure, the day this all turns and when things are growing and prosperity can be seen and achieved I am gonna love to open these threads and listen to the crickets jumping around.
BUT on another note guys....dont forget HE'S KEPT US SAVE FOR HIS WHOLE PRESIDENTIAL TERM THUS FAR, Im NOT HEARING O is A PUSSY or the terrorist are waiting for him to be elected, that call for fear must of went out the window, now the sky is falling and we dont have a way to stop it is the new one.
