the only sport that warrants my/our wagers is ncaaf..the kids try hard on almost every play..the ones going to the pros have to produce in order to get drafted and get the big bucks, the other 98% will never play again and want to remember their last days of football fondly..i simply don't see that in any other sport..for the last 20 years i make a whole lotta cash on ncaaf and and piss it away on other sports,NEVER again i say..from now on my bankroll is devoted to ncaaf ONLY..oh yeah i do very well on the nfl team win totals, so i'll include that as well..see you at the collection window..$$$$:thefinger

NO pro sport has athletes that try every game, much less every play (this doesnt include NHL which I dont understand, cant watch and am not really sure is a sport). College basketball has the incredibly great and entertaining tournament, but you can't count on the teams during the regular season like you can in NCAA football.
Two things stand out about this - 1. NCAA football plays FAR fewer games than all of these except NFL and 2. NCAA football has no playoffs.
Now, I generally support some kind of 4-8 playoff system for college football, but I simply cannot get past the fact that the lack of one means that EVERY game is critical and virtually every play is important.
I think you're dead on regarding the mentality of the college football players as well.
I just wish NCAA football season was like NHL or NBA seasons, then I could join you in betting only on it. As it is, I just dont have the discipline to abstain for 8 months.

lets have a great ncaaf season..i know they only play 12 reg season games BUT there are usually 40 plus games every week!!!!!!!!!!!:toast:
I here ya. I used to be good at MLB but was just thinking to wait until CFB.. There are some good people just to follow in the other sports. Saves time from me capping.. Like CBB the last month and half was HOT HOT HOT on this site...
plenty of sites and mags to use for ncaaf capping,should be a great season for making money..:00hour
:toast: i hear ya BP but seems like when i tail a hot capper they go cold..perhaps its me:shrug: ..love the ncaa sports players efforts, pros only seem to play hard in contract years and lets not even get into pro officials,
