I've been perusing the forum and realized that I am now agreeing often times with smurph and stevie d !! Is this to be expected or has my dementia set in ?

IAnd then there's Kosar - refusing to choose a side as always.
I will try to conjure up something that will help smurphy.
Best of luck with this, Ferd.I will try to conjure up something that will help smurphy.

Howdy Ferd--good to see you back
I been trying to figure out what Stevie and Smurph believe--if it was pre election rhetoric post election as he's flopped on every major issue.
I know Stevie was extremely adamant about ending wars--but haven't heard a peep about O doubling brigades in afgan--and 130,000 troops still in Iraq-- so have to assume he for anything O does at the time.
--and Smurph--I can't ever get more than one liner avoiding question so don't know. I'll showya what I mean--
Smurph on cost of Carbon Tax which position of O do you agree with-
--his latest--"it will only cost each american cost of postage stamp"--
or his previous position--
?Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket . . . because I?m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, natural gas, you name it . . . Whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money, and they will pass that [cost] on to consumers.??

DTB you must have a reading disabilty. I have been very strong in my criticism of Obama. In fact, I don't know what you are so upset with him about, he seems to be more on your side than mine.
I think he has made a mistake in Afghanastan, I am against the bailouts and I think he is climbing up the wrong tree on health care. I also have dissed him for not doing anything about the illegals. I have stated that like Bush had everything he wanted and did nothing about it Obama is running down the same road. The other day I called Obama a neocon. He has done nothing to help the middle class.
There is more I don't like about the guy. I hope the the Dems catch on to this guy. Calling him a liberal is like calling Bush a Conservative.
Anything else?
My apologies Steve--
Appears we share view next 4 years--are hopes lie in the conservative/centrist dems--they are only thing that is standing in the way of the 3 amigos-- O/Pelosi and Reid from getting any program they want passed.
Considering that Pelosi and Reid along with the republicans and the centrist dems never stood up to Bush what makes you think they will stand up to Obama?
We are in deep crap here. And the media, Fox, CNN, and the rest, are just along for the ride.
obama`s got 95% of the media in his pocket....and considering the general apathy about economics and politics that 80% of the americvan public suffers from, this president can pretty much do as he damn well pleases...
i`m serious when i say that unless the bottom falls out completely for bock(a real possibility),i believe an assault on the 22nd amendment will happen in 2016(ala what`s happening in honduras).......
you have the media and you have the people...period...
