This is the type of game that makes me wonder why I even bother. What a complete bunch of shit. LAD are out hitting the Padres 17-6 going into the bottom of the 10th. This will be the straw that broke my back. I'm done.

Actually it doesn't happen all the time... best team in the league against one of the worst hitting teams...5 run lead with one of the best starters in the NL on the mound....bottom of the 9th....

I'd venture to guess that it was 1000-1 or more that the Padres could come back in that situation.......

I agree with Mags. 1, 2 or even 3 run leads getting blown in the 9th happen all the time. 5 run leads getting blown in the 9th are very rare. Then throw in the fact it was the Padres. Not exactly a high powered offense.

Wow...give the guy a break!!!! Have any of you bothered to check his numbers out before this "rare" dud by him.......6-0/40IP/18H/65K!!!!!! Also, throw in 20 saves! To say this guy doesn't deserve an All Star game just because he had "one" bad day......I don't think so! Dodgers got it done as we all know, but to say Broxton sucks you have no idea what you're talking about. Broxton sucked "today"...yes!! But, I'll take him over any closer right now.
