Gonna start the day off with TOR. Love Halladay in this position, especially coming off of 4 straight wins. See David Price a a huge weakness for TB, and think he's gonna get shelled. I've started looking at some of Jeff Sagarin's MLB rankings and think they are fairly on as to the true value of a pitcher and demonstrate wildly favorable matchups. For example, Sagarin gives Price a valuation of -5.81$. When compared with Halladay's valuation of 31.32$, this is a hugely favorable match up. Of course, the bookies know this or else I wouldn't be giving so much chalk!

I agree completely. This line is almost as bad as Santana being a favorite last night. Price has done nothing but be a walk machine and when he takes something off to locate, his pitches flatten out. Both bullpens logged some pitches last night. Unless Price has a complete 180, biggest mismatch of the day.

halladay was won 4 st ???? Tor 2-5 L7 of his starts...0 for L3....... he has 2 ND's & 1 loss L3...Tor 4-3 with Doc on the road BUT 0 for L3 on road... Tampa 4-1 with price @ home... stats are just that but these show why a starters is just a starter.....have to look at the teams... Tor 2-8 L10....5-16 L21 vs East..... tor/doc 2-5 L7 after a loss.... this line should drop > by gm time.....

Yep. I'm a huge idiot. The list of starts I was looking at was in reverse chronological order. Not sure why MLB.com lists them that way?? Thanks!

I still like the play though. I just think Price is a weakness. Never meant to steer anyone wrong.

you weren't off ....tough to win in this game.. I thought maddon left prince in to long.. 20 LOB for tor...this could have gone your way... think tor is down at this point... have to go against them at this time... they look defeated as a team..

This Jays game is the #1 reason not to bet overnights. Jays sat Rolen and Scutturo. Now I know on night day B2B they have sat Rolen but do you sit him facing being swept in a 4 game series? They left 20 runners on? Didn't see that. Jays look to have given up.

Bullpen giveth, bullpen taketh. Had Florida thought game was done when 7th run plated. Also had big dog Texas, but I guess 1 run lead not very solid. It was however a 3 run shot in bot8 with 2 outs hurt a little.
