Obama goes low with All-Star first pitch
(AP) ?President Barack Obama was true to his word: He didn?t bounce it.
Obama?s ceremonial first pitch at the All-Star game barely reached the plate Tuesday night. St. Louis Cardinals star Albert Pujols helped the president, reaching out to scoop the toss.
Obama had warmed up on the White House grounds Monday night, and was determined his pitch would reach the plate on a fly.

I didn't bet it and glad I didn't. Props like this only equal trouble for Sportsbooks with unconfirmed crap like this.
I saw Franco Harris come out of nowhere and catch it just as hit was about to hit the ground...or did it hit...all I know is that he seemed to catch it and proceeded to run out of bounds...

just as I figured he has no athletic ability to throw a baseball, so he told the cameras not to embarass him. He looked like he lollipopped it in to Pujols who had to get out of his crouch to catch it before it hit the dirt. great camera work by fox:142smilie
I think they graded it a winner because I doubt anyone bet to be caught at -500.
I have now see it like 10 times and I can't tell if Albert trapped it or caught it.

Obama throws like a girl. Here I thought he was an athlete with all this talk of building basketball court at the white house and the such. After watching him throw, I am willing to bet I can score at will against the Prez. :SIB

It isn't where it landed that makes him throw like a girl, rather it is his form and trajectory.

I noticed many boos as well. I was not sure if they were booing for he was or for what he was wearing.
You represent the US now not Chicago. He should have been wearing either a STL jacket, All Star jacket, or nothing at all.
Just another poor decision by the man to go along with his stimulus package.

I'll let that pass. My dad taught me how to throw when I was three and I throw as well as any guy you've seen. It's just being taught properly from an early age...
It might shock you how many terrible guys there are out there. I feel badly for them, it's gotta suck being a guy and throwing like a homo...
