Obama goes low with All-Star first pitch
(AP) ?President Barack Obama was true to his word: He didn?t bounce it.
Obama?s ceremonial first pitch at the All-Star game barely reached the plate Tuesday night. St. Louis Cardinals star Albert Pujols helped the president, reaching out to scoop the toss.
Obama had warmed up on the White House grounds Monday night, and was determined his pitch would reach the plate on a fly.
i emailed bodog ,
they said b/c albert caught it before it hit the ground they graded it as caught, even though it was short
it looked liked pujols caught it but he moved up and was stratling the plate and definitely caught the ball in front of the plate
love the cnnsi write up.....obama was greeted with cheers
really?
i heard a shit load of boos that lasted longer than the cheers.
then again, we have freedom of the press!
