Here are my intial numbers, probably will change slightly heading into the season, but mainly use Power ratings as another tool in capping teams.

Yeah, I usually use to get an intially take of where these teams are, class-wise. In your example, I believe given Ole Miss is on the road @ UCLA, it would be a fairly tight game in terms of "line".

I also have a couple other flowchart-type things I use to compare, as well as just Fundamental handicapping.....

I believe the biggest thing to get from Power Ratings, is that the HFA, Home Field Advantage, for each team can vary significantly.
e.g, Indiana may be 2 or 2' pts @ home,
while Virginia Tech may be 6 or 6'......
