He's following the new world order's orders... he just a muppet puppet... Being democratic, he just spends money faster and writes checks faster, and then next year will hammer the middle class with Im sorry your taxes are up 10+% for another 2+ years...

So, for the poll; no he sucks. and so did Bush.

This govt isnt even hiding its anti constitutional agenda... and putting that idiot racist mexican bitch who hates whites with guns... wow that is gonna be bad... poor NRA has to actually vote to have a Federal Law passed when they always want States to govern gun laws...

I believe everyone should be using their right to bear arms.... and stock up!!! Our right to free speach is GONE PEOPLE.... GONE..... In fact most of our 'freedoms' that are men and women are fighting for are not even around anymore...

UNTIL a BUNCH and I mean a BUNCH of people stand up and back it up with muscle that we are sick of all this bullshit and realize what is really going on and that the war on terrorism is really a cover to give Americans false sense of safety and that we are losing our Constitutional Rights every House and Senate gathering; every summit meeting.... and oh shit; Im talking Politics while drunk... Brad, dont do this...

Im done; before I get started.

Not that you seriously want a poll here, I don't think, but I'll answer. I think Obama is doing a good job in some areas, and I'm worried about other areas. I'm definitely worried about the debt levels, and what exactly is included in the health care plan, but I'm open to looking at the elements of it.

I think he's doing a great job (except in hate-everything-Obama-related-land) of restoring communication skills and thoughtfulness to the Presidential position. In many respects the Presidential position is a ceremonial one, and a representative one in the eyes of the world. I think he has not only America, but the rest of the world, talking about things that (except in hate-everything-Obama-related-land) are important to the future. Healthcare reform was one of the most important items to me in the coming years, and for the first time in our history, we are all really looking at the subject, and talking about what can be done. He's taken dramatic steps on many fronts to address serious problems in our country, and abroad. Of course, we all disagree about the best way to handle EVERYTHING, but I'm impressed with his work ethic, his communication skills, I think he looks and acts very Presidential and classy (I know doesn't matter to some, but I think is important abroad), and there are signs that some of his attempts to deal with terrible situations might be working.

Again, I don't deny the obvious concerns or worries about HOW he is doing things. The debt, the tax-first ideas, what seems to be an extremely liberal plan in many areas, and an apparent penchant for backing off previous stances and positions, depending on the situation. I can understand some of it, but some concerns me.

Am I a lot happier that he is the President than Bush? Of course I am, but I would be happier if most people were President instead of Bush. I would have preferred Clinton to Obama, and still feel that way, but in a lot of areas I think Obama is doing a good job. And I definitely think it's too early to rate him on a lot of things, especially economic ones. Some who criticize him on these matters here have previously maintained it takes time for things to work, or be affected by economic policy (or at least they did when Bush was President). They don't say that now, of course, but they did before Obama was here to be ridiculed and criticized.
