it was roll. too bad good kid... just donated a bunch of money to cazenovia park where he grew up playing. think he was on chippewa st at 4am pretty drunk cab fare was $13.80 him and his cousin give the cabbie $15. the driver gives him a dollar didn't have the 20 cents change... escalated from there...

Very rare for a NHL player to do stuff like this, very rare. NBA or NFL, this is common, but for NHL player to do this......wow:scared

Not sure where you got the photo of the cab driver after the "beating" as one has not been published that I am aware of??? Also the cabbies own lawyer stated that the incident has been blown way out of proportion and that he sees no indication that Mr. Kane will be convicted of a felony. I know you are a Toronto fan and such but the cabbies "face" was fine. Not condoning beating a cab driver over twenty cents but certainly don't like to judge when I don't personally have all the facts of the matter either.

The cabdriver accusing Patrick Kane and his cousin of robbery and assault reportedly has no valid license and has been arrested in the past for drunken driving.


The cabdriver's lawyer, Andrew LoTempio, said that his client is an immigrant with several different names, which may have created some confusion over his license. LoTempio is hoping that the two sides can reach an out of court settlement. Meanwhile Patrick Kane's lawyer, Patrick Cambria, said Kane is eager to tell his side of the story. "Pat is like 'Why me? I didn't hit the guy. I didn't assault the guy. I wasn't involved in paying or not paying the fare. I can't believe I'm in this.'," Cambria said. "He did not assault the cabdriver. Did not rob the cabdriver. Did not cheat him out of his fee. None of those things. He tried to get out of a locked cab from a cabdriver who was not permitting either one of them to get out of a locked cab." Stay tuned.

Well I saw the cabbies face on two networks, but hey what more can I say:shrug:


All I know is Kane is in trouble, I hope he didn't do it, guess we will find out eventually. As I said, hope it is not true, but if it is, big trouble.
