Here is the new family member...

Nice color, love the interior, and the way it drives. 3.6 engine, same one from the Caddy CTS. (So Jack, I got some Caddy in me!) Paid $19,450, sticker was $22,300. (Had another dealership bring it in, as the chick there that had it listed gave me the "we are a once price shop, can't go any lower!) crap. Walked out of the store... called a sister/brother dealership and said I want that car, see what you can do. Bottomline, I think I got a good deal?

Even got paddle shifters on the steeering whel, doubt I will ever use them, but hey it is an option!

That's not a bad price at all dogface. I was looking at a new malibu for a few months even knew the wholesale prices. So for a 09 LTZ that's not bad at all they didn't make much off you. Good job, they seem to be good cars and with that 3.6 thats the only way I would get one. :00hour I will see what kind of info I can get for you tomorrow.

Thanks my man, I thought it was a good deal, so hoping others would say so as well. So many more out there similiar in MN but in the low 22's, and I did call other's to verify if they could get close and the all said no. My buddy manages a Buick/Ponitac/GMC and he couldn't get on to sell it to me for that.

Sidenote I love the leather on it, I saw one with Birck/Ebony two-tone, but the way the dash is with the Brik, it would have blined me while driving!

One of the reason's I didn't get the Malibu. The two-tone was to much for me. I'm just not used to driving a car with that much going on inside and thought I would get tired of it real fast!!! I know pretty lame but everyone I was seeing was the Brick color and couldn't do it.

I wonder why they would sell it for that price... since no other dealership would touch it? Out of trust maybe?

I met the sales guy a week or so ago, test driving vehicles. He did not have anything on the lot I was looking for, some cars with moderate interest, but nothing I cared for... he urged me to keep checking all of the dealer lots, especially ones with their affiliation. Lo and behold, the had one... and him and the staff met with me three times. Last meeting they brought the car over from the other dealership, I drove it there as well... sat with him and finance guy, (even though I have financing via Credit unions, nothing beats them.) learned about Gap Coverage, etc. (which I was not familiar with) basically developed a relationship quickly and voila. Best sales person ever.... nope. But he did work hard and met everything I asked of him, even the pricing. (might of been some pressure to move a car they brought in specifically for me... and since I didn't sign right away, that may have prompted them to move. Not real sure on the inner workings of a dealership... but in my former positions in sales, if I did something for a customer, I for sure better get the deal.)

Also not a lot of them out there LTZ package, etc.

Oh well, I am pleased!

That is a pretty good deal for a malibu with the LTZ package. I've only read good reviews about this car. Best of luck!

Thanks, so far I love it. The ride is smooth, and tight. The interior is great, and looks very sharp. Cashmere and Cocoa I believe is what they call it.

I have used the paddles a bit, and that engine is very nice. Not bad for a little over 250HP. I love the wheels as well, gives such a nice looking stance... enough abou that! :SIB
